Marks & Spencer Creamy Coconut Shower Gel Review

Today, I have come up with a review for one of my recently purchased favorite products. Somehow in the summers, we all dream of tropical and simple fragrances. On my last trip to M&S, I came across this new launched line of bath and body products in the scent coconut. Now we all know M&S bath & body products are quite affordable. So without much guilt I literally pounced on this product, all the time imagining tropical coconut bath experience. Let’s see if this product has fulfilled my fantasy or not: P

Product Claims:

Experience daily luxury with our Nature’s Extracts collection. This shower gel enriched with extract of creamy coconut and added moisturizer will cleanse your skin and help leave it soft, smooth and delicately scented. This shower gel comes in a 250 ml pack.

My Experience with Marks & Spencer Creamy Coconut Shower Gel:

This shower gel comes in a really sturdy tube packaging. While it is bulky, I feel it is still travel-friendly. The shower gel is transparent and has a runny consistency. I quite like the way it lathers on the loofah give a rich and luxurious bath experience. The fragrance is coco-nutty with powdery undertone. It is not an exotic fragrance but quite pleasant. It will not bother even those people with the most sensitive of the noses.

This fragrance is actually unisex. I feel that it can be enjoyed by the entire family and has potential to become your family body wash. A note of caution for those who are expecting the fragrance to linger. This will not last beyond your bath. It will give a pleasant bathing experience and your bathroom will smell quite nice, but don’t expect it to stay on you. So, ardent Victoria’s Secret, B&W and TBS fans – this is not for you. Now the high point of this shower gel is its fragrance. I would personally prefer this during winters or on a rainy day as this shower gel makes you feel warm due to its nutty fragrance any you all know how much I like warm fragrances 😀

I use this shower gel, before sleep or on a cold early morning. This shower gel is moisturizing and does justice to it claim and does a pretty god job of cleaning up. There is no immediate need to apply a moisturizing lotion – so no complaints there. Having said that, I still prefer a lotion after every shower

Cons of Marks & Spencer Creamy Coconut Shower Gel:

• Fragrance is not long lasting.
• It is not SLS and parabens free.

It’s a budget-buy and worth every penny spent. If lack of lasting power does not bother you, go for it.
