Max Factor Creme Puff Review

Max Factor Creme Puff Review

Hi Dolls,

I am reviewing my mother’s compact, which at times even I use when I am just running out of the door and quickly grab any product near me to powder my face and eat anything I can lay my hands on 😛 On such days, I do want my base makeup to look good, but don’t bother for concealers and liquid foundations, etc!!! One day, when I was running out of time (which tends to happen most of the times), I grabbed this powder and quickly powdered my whole face with it 😛

My Experience with Max Factor Creme Puff:

The packaging is very basic compact packaging, comes with a sponge applicator which I never use.  Somehow, I find these sponges futile because I just can’t work the product into my skin with them or probably I am addicted to my brushes, don’t really know what the reason is?? I adore my “Studio Fix” and nothing has impressed me in terms of coverage, but after a long time, I have come across a compact which gives good medium to full coverage quickly without wasting time on layering the product.

Compact

The staying power is also very good, almost 4 hours, which is very good for a compact. It gives a matte finish with a lovely glow which I love and also it doesn’t melt off my face. It didn’t make my face look cakey or loaded with powder!!! The smell of the compact is a bit overpowering, very chemical, but vanishes after 30 minutes.  It will prove to be a time-saving product for many!!!

Compact Powder

Pros of Max Factor Creme Puff:

  • Many shades to choose from.
  • Good staying power.
  • Good coverage.
  • Reasonably priced.
  • Good quantity.
  • Nice matte effect.
  • I think that’s all one needs in a good day-to-day compact.

Beige Foundation Compact

Cons of Max Factor Creme Puff:

  • Chemical, synthetic smell.
  • Futile sponge applicator.

IMBB Rating:

4.5/5

  1. There is one more con in this. It doesnt have a mirror. But overall, its a very good product. I use it in ‘Sun Frolic’ shade.

  2. Max Factor bases are often well worth their prices , but the only problem they pose for many warmer complexioned people is the shade selections which tend to be more pink toned than with yellow undertones .Otherwise the formulations are great. I love the Lasting performance one even now.

    1. Arja .. i really din’t get a chance to chk the complete shades…. i am liking this one and yes i have heard a of good things about Lasting performance :foundation 🙂
