Maybelline Color Show Crayon Khol in Snow White Review

Hello lovelies,

I have always been skeptical about getting the white eyeliner because I always thought it’s weird since I am devoted to the traditional black kajal. This time, I took the plunge and got the white one. So, let’s see see how it fared.

Product Description:

  • Snow White is a white eyeliner that adds a bit of shimmer and detail to complement your beautiful eyes. It doesn’t tug and pull on your lash line as well, gliding smoothly along the curves to provide consistent application.
  • Formulated with high crystalline wax, the Color Show Crayon Khôl gives a budge-proof long- lasting finish that stays put, exactly where you put it. Smudging business is no longer part and parcel of eye makeup.
  • High intensity, long wearing.
  • Smooth and creamy formula.
  • Dermatologist tested.

My Take on Maybelline Color Show Crayon Khol in Snow White:

The packaging is like other color show pencils. A black body with the color coordinating cap that is easy to locate. The pencil came sealed, and on the seal the details were given. Once you dispose it then that’s the end of it as the use before date will also be lost. The cap is a bit loose, so I might just store it in my box and not carry it around.

White eyeliner

Snow white is a full-fledged white without any shimmer in it. It goes on smooth and creamy without any tugs or pulls. I chose to wear it on the waterline. The color payoff is superb; you get all of it in a single swipe. I wore this one day for shopping and my mom exclaimed “you look really weird!” And that was the last I used it 😀 The “pop” effect is noticeable and my eyes do look wider, but also weird at the same time 😛

White eyeliner packaging

The texture is quite rubbery; it just sticks on and starts to flake while I try to remove it. On the waterline, it is worse. It is smudge-proof and also water-proof, owing to the rubbery texture. It lasts for a good 3 hours on the waterline which is laudable because I have watery eyes.

White eyeliner

This cannot be used to highlight the eyes or even on the brow bone since this does not smudge, so it is impossible to blend. So, it is not multi-purpose and serves only as an eyeliner.

White liner

If you like to use a white liner, then I think this is a good option, affordable too, but it does not serve any other purpose.

  1. I have the lakme eyeconic one -that one is smudgeable -and I agree with you -while it looks great in photos -it looks weird in person 😛

  2. Ha ha. White isn’t for us. All those white makes eyes make bigger doesnot work… I would rather use normal colors than looking weird 😛 Great review…
