I picked up five shades from this range after reading Trisha’s reviews and oh boy! There is not a single reason why you should not buy these lipsticks! Yes, even the fact that we all have way too many lipsticks to be used in this or the next lifetime! This is a burgundy red, a bold maroon plum kind of red which really surprised me!

I tried this lipstick on and thought, this is perhaps the creamiest and smoothest plum-maroon red in my collection. I have always been a fan of their old moisture extreme lipsticks but they had a water shine creamy finish. These lipsticks on the other hand are intense, may be that is the why they named it “ColorShow” the lipsticks are insanely pigmented, and creamy, thick and intense, they are true, may be double the intensity of the color in the bullet.It smells little sweet bubble-gummy!

This shade is a maroon red, very pigmented and creamy. It has no shimmer or frost to it, and it goes thick and opaque in one swipe! I was really bowled over. The lipstick has a thick feeling and you seriously do not need more than one swipe. One swipe would give you even red burgundy lips and nothing more or less. The color is deep and you may find it a little mature but it is a very sophisticated color honestly. This could be a more mature shade and worn during evenings or so.This is not a day wear shade but this color instantly lightens and brightens the face. You need to go light on the eye makeup with this one. It stays easily for 5-6 hours including a soft tint it leaves behind.I have not noticed any dryness for my normal lips.

The finish is almost matte; I would call it creamy matte. This does not settle and does not look cakey in one swipe but you surely need to use it sparingly, it is so intense. Using a lip brush with this shade is a very good idea. You can also use a lip liner to just keep the application and color in control. This does not bleed at all, it is very creamy and it is neither drying nor moisturizing; but it is not a hard matte, it is a soft creamy matte. The texture is superb, too creamy, soft and opaque honestly. I am very happy with the lipstick and highly recommend it too. Does it remind  you of this Burgundy from Maybelline?
