Maybelline Dream Touch Blush #05

Today I am going to review a blush from Maybelline. Cream blushes are said to be suitable for dry skin beauties. I have combination skin with oily t-zone. But still I got this blush when I saw this in the store just because I could not resist the pretty color of the blush and of course the cute pot :P. The cute little pot in which the blush comes is damn hard to say no to! I just convinced myself that I will somehow find a way to work with this blush to push away my guilt at that moment :P. So here I am to review the product. Please read on. ๐Ÿ™‚

Maybelline Dream Touch Blush #05

From Maybelline India site โ€“

Why Youโ€™ll Love It:

โ€ข Ultra soft cream-whipped blush
โ€ข Refined color pigments for better color payoff
โ€ข Ultra blendable, it melts into your skin effortlessly
โ€ข A lighter than air fell on skin and an all-day freshly applied look

Expert Tip:

With your fingertips, pat a small amount of blush onto the apples of your cheeks. Use feathery strokes to blend gently from your cheekbones to your temples. To build color intensity, apply more blush.

My experience with Maybelline Dream Touch Blush #05:

The blush comes in a transparent round glass pot with a plastic cap. The cap closes securely on the blush. The packaging is very nice and I love it. Though it is a glass pot it looks quite sturdy and heavy. The color is beautiful peachy pink. It is perfect for getting that nice flush of color on the cheeks for a special date or day out in the morning or just any other day!! The blush gives nice dewy finish and gives healthy glow on the cheeks. It stays on for 4-5 hours on my combination skin. So I assume on dry skin beauties it may stay for even longer.

Application:

You can take the blush on your finger tips and dab it on your cheeks and blend it with your fingers. You can also apply it using a stipler brush or blush brush. Just make sure you do not take access product on your brush, because unlike powder blushes you cannot tap off the excess product. If you have oily or combination skin, you can make this blush work on your cheeks by swiping a sheer powder blush of similar shade on top of it. That way the blush stays for longer time and also does not get oily very soon. It does get dewy though.

Cons of Maybelline Dream Touch Blush #05:

The mousse formula suited me much more than the cream ones – and that was reasonably priced too :'(

I have medium tone skin and it shows up on me… on wheatish skin it might just give a flush and the color might not some intensely prachi.. ๐Ÿ™‚

Agree rati ๐Ÿ™‚ there are only 3 shades… the ligher one was too light and would suit only very fair gailrs… this shade is just perfect for me ๐Ÿ™‚
