I am not a big fan of lip liners. I like to dab on the lipstick directly and casually on the go and not make it look much made up. This is the only lip liner I have in my makeup kitty. I got this as a gift from my relative who had come down from the US.

My Experience with Maybelline Espresso Moisture Whip Waterproof Lip Liner:
This is a very creamy lip liner and blends in easily without making one look like an Indian classical dancer. It doesn’t smudge at all and lasts all day. It is very smooth to apply, glides on silky smoothly and doesn’t pull on the lips at all. I love this coffee brown colour as it goes well with almost all the lipstick shades. The pigmentation is intense. I sometimes even fill in my lips with this and apply a sheer lipstick or gloss on top for an all-day color because as claimed the color lasts for about 8 hours. It has not got any shimmery particles and is not glossy or shiny at all. I love anything that is super matte!
It helps the lipstick stay on for longer and prevents bleeding outside the lip line. It provides better shape, finish and perfect definition of the lip line.
The only downside I think is the need to sharpen it. I like retractable tubes, be it lip liners or eye pencils because a lot of product can be wasted with sharpening. Also, this one is not like the regular pencils where the wood or plastic casing and the product are glued to each other. Here the tube of product inside is detached and it shakes. Because of that, you cannot get the shapely conical tip by sharpening; it remains a little blunt. Pencils already tend to break a lot and with the above said characteristic, this is more prone to breaking.
