I am one of those who just cannot step out of the house without eye makeup. Nicely lined eyes in dark black has always been an essential for me. But, the worst part is removing the make-up, especially the eye makeup after a long tiring day. This is one product that has helped me clean my eye makeup in less than a few seconds and I am happy because I can go to sleep without wasting 10-15 minutes on removing my make-up. Maybelline has always been one of my favourite brands, so here is one more review for an eye product from Maybelline!

My Experience with Maybelline Expert Eyes Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover:

I had to lay my hands on this makeup remover from Maybelline because in India they haven’t launched a lot of eye removers. But fortunately, other countries have a lot to offer so I picked up this miniature. This eye makeup remover comes in a white translucent bottle with a pink cap and all the product information printed over it in pink. Owing to its mini size, it is great to take along or set in your vanity. The cap is flip open one which is really trouble-free to use and has a tiny hole in between that helps us to get just the required amount of product out. When I had ordered this one, I thought it would be a water based eye make-up remover. Later, when I started using it, I realised that it is an oil based cleanser. I absolutely adore such oil cleansers when it comes to removing stubborn make-up, so i was more than pleased.

The makeup remover is a transparent oil that has a runny consistency. Maybelline has directed us to put the remover onto a cotton pad and then remove the makeup. But, I have found a better way! Take it on fingertips, massage on the eyes and let the make-up dissolve and then wipe it off with a cotton pad. The oil has no hint of fragrance at all which is actually good for eyes because at times scented cosmetics irritate the eyes. It does not itch my eyes at all and in fact, it has never caused any harm to my sensitive eyes.

It satisfactorily and smoothly removes all of my eye make-up within seconds. It removes my eye liner very easily, but takes a little while and effort to remove waterproof mascara. It removes all the residue from the eyes with just 2-3 swipes and leaves behind clean, baby skin. Also, due to the oil content in it, it somehow hydrates my under eye area which gets dry due to the smudged liner. It makes my eyes feel fresh and they look bright and lively. I am really loving this product as of now and will surely be on the hunt to find something like this in India. But till then, the people who can easily have an access to this one, pick it up to soothe your eyes and remove the eye make-up super easily.

Yes, I will surely love to repurchase it, especially in bigger size. I would definitely recommend it to everyone because our eyes suffer a lot and even get harmed when it comes to the make-up removal part and this will not do any such thing.

As far as I know, oil based eye makeup removers work the best when it comes to removing heavy eye make-up.

And, if you do not want to spend your money on one, it is best you with everyone’s favorite olive oil.
