Hello Beautiful Ladies,

How are you doing? I am a great fan of Maybelline products as they are very affordable, easily available and suitable for all Indian skin tones. Last week, I went to the Maybelline counter  and bought two shades of Maybelline colorshow lippies. One is Midnight Pink which had already reviewed on IMBB and the other is Fall in Mauve.  So let’s see what my experience with this new lipstick is like.

Price:

INR 299 for 3.8 gm.

Product description:

It comes in 27 different shades, with bold color which defines your lips perfectly in single swipe. It is very moisturizing and stays on lips for four to five hour without smudging and smearing.

How to use:

Applying your lipstick by staring from the center in lips. Work on the center to edges of your lips for gorgeously perfect finish.

Shelf life:

36 months from the date of packaging.

My experience with Maybelline Fall In Mauve Color Show Lipstick:

It comes in a black plastic tube with a black plastic cap which is made of very low quality plastic. The cap is breakage-prone. It breaks very easily if we don’t use it carefully, but at the price of 299, we can’t expect more.

The code and the shade name is written on a sticker at the bottom of the tube. As its name indicates, it is a very gorgeous mauve shade which would suit  all skin tone. I love the color. It is my kinda mauve. It has very tiny particles of shimmer in it which do not give a frosty finish but add shine to the color. They are only visible under sunlight. The color gives an  opaque finish in a single swipe , but for the perfect finish we need at least two swipes of this lipstick

Texture of the lipstick is quite smooth. It glides on the lips very smoothly. It is super creamy without being sticky. It feels light on lips and lips feel moisturized. It does not dry out the lips. It becomes cakey if over-applied. It stays on my lips for 4-5 hours with a light meal. As it is not so glossy, staying power could have been better and I would also like to say here that it fades unevenly. It does not leave any stain behind. I don’t like its smell either, which is slightly sweet.

Would I repurchase Maybelline Fall In Mauve Color Show Lipstick?

Yes, absolutely I love the color. I will also try other shades from this range. They are very affordable and worth the  price.

Would I recommend Maybelline Fall In Mauve Color Show Lipstick?

Yes, it is suitable for all Indian skin tones.
