Hello,

It has been a while since Maybelline launched the Fit Me range in India. The products from this range have been a hit overseas and over here as well. I picked up some Maybelline makeup and this is one among the few. I chose the shade Medium Nude, so let’s know more about this blush.

My Experience with Maybelline Fit Me Blush Medium Nude:

Maybelline Fit Me Blush Medium Nude Review

I was actually very intrigued by this range because of all the good reviews. But, sadly, this one failed to keep up with my expectations. Find out why below.

The blush comes in a small plastic case which has a flip lid. It is compact and convenient to carry around. It also comes with an applicator brush. Sadly, there is no mirror. I’d expect a mirror for the price. The brush is also pretty useless; the bristles are way too harsh and all poky hence the brush irritates the skin. So eventually I am just paying for the blush.

Medium Nude is a pretty shade of pale mauve-pink with very fine silver shimmers. The shimmers are fine enough and not gritty. The texture of the blush is smooth and blends well. But it is a bit powdery and it gets all messy in the container. Coming to the color payoff, this is where it disappointed me. The color barely shows up on my fair skin. You can see the blended swatch where there is just a tiny hint of color with sheen. Even if I apply for about 3 times, just a little color shows up.

Maybelline Fit Me Blush texture

Pigmentation is really poor. I doubt whether this blush shade would show up on other skin tones. But the good thing is that it imparts that highlight to my skin which gives that soft and natural look. Since it has shimmers it highlights my cheeks. You can see in the FOTD how nicely it highlights. It says it doesn’t clog pores, but I ended up with clogged pores on my cheeks maybe because of the shimmers. It stays for only 2 hours and it transfers. Setting it with a makeup fixer is a must. On the whole, I am not very satisfied with this blush.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Maybelline Fit Me Blush Medium Nude?
I think it’d be good for everyday wear because the pale color and the shimmers give a nice glow to the cheeks. If you’re looking for more color then this would be a skip.
