Felt tip liners are a blessing for people who are just beginning with eye makeup and also for those who have wobbly hands. Although I like a thick line on my lid most of the times, I sometimes want my eyeshadow to pop and hence prefer the thinnest line on the lid. The super fine tip of this Maybelline Hyper Sharp liner attracted me; read on to know if this liner serves the purpose.

Product Description:
Our 1st flat tip liner that draws thin to thick. Maybelline’s first 2-in-1 flat tip eyeliner lets you draw from thin to thick in two easy steps. Achieving perfect balanced wings have never been easier.
My Experience with Maybelline Hypersharp Wing Black Liquid Liner:
The packaging is like the regular felt tip ones which are advised to be kept upside down so that the tip remains saturated with the fluid. The cap is metallic pink which shuts with a satisfying click and hence is travel friendly. The tip is the selling point factor of the line and it is definitely worth a mention. It is a flat pointed tip that really helps in drawing the thinnest line; if you want a thicker line, just tilt it a bit. I can see that Maybelline has worked well on the concept.
The texture of the liner is watery and glides easily on the lid. The tip is pretty firm but not pokey; it does not irritate the eyes and helps draw thick and thin lines well. It settles pretty fast and you don’t have to wait for it to dry. It keeps the shiny look alive and does not settle to a matte finish. There is no tugging or pulling of the lids during application which makes it all the more user-friendly.
I wish the shade was the blackest black, but sadly, the pigmentation is not stark. You have to go over twice to get the perfect black line. It stays on the lid for 2-3 hours intact, but after that it starts fading. If you have the habit of touching eyes, you might end up having nothing on the lid after a couple of hours. As much as I like the tip of the liner, I wish it had better pigmentation and staying power.
