Maybelline had launched this glossy liquid liner last spring and it had quite good reviews so I thought of trying out it. I mostly go for black eyeliner but this time thought of trying out some other cool shades and decided on Bronzed shimmer. Let’s talk about the product in detail now.

Available Shades: They have 6 shades in this range. Black Lacquer 500, Violet Luster 505, Glossy Teal 510, Polished Green 515, Navy Gleam 520, Bronzed Shimmer 525.

My take on Maybelline Master Duo Glossy Liquid Liner in Bronzed Shimmer:

I am having a love hate relationship with Maybelline Master Duo Liquid Liner. The applicator is little weird so that you can use it 2 ways. When you hold it flat you can achieve a thick line and with the edge of the applicator you can get a thin line. The end of the applicator has this ball shape that only helps you in achieving a thin line and thin line is really a big job.

The consistency of the liner is little watery and when you apply it always sticks to the eyelashes which sometimes causes irritation. I like the way it easily gives a nice line to the eyes but when it gets into lashes it’s not a good feeling. It does give a glossy and wet look after applying but doesn’t have any shimmer in it. Staying power is good for 4-5 hours and doesn’t smudge too.

Bronzed shimmer is a chocolaty brown shade which I thought will complement my brown eyes but when I applied I came to know it did not suit me at all… It kind of looks dull and lifeless.

Pros of Maybelline Master Duo Glossy Liquid Liner in Bronzed Shimmer:

• Can be used to draw thin line and thick line according to your preference
• Applicator is complicated but still the thick line is good
• Smudge proof
• Very easy to remove

Cons of Maybelline Master Duo Glossy Liquid Liner in Bronzed Shimmer:

• Very hard to achieve thin lines. Takes long time to do it
• The shade Bronzed shimmer is not cool and doesn’t add any impact to eyes
• Shades are not everyday colors
• The applicator is very weird and very hard to get used to.

This Liquid liner from Maybelline can be given a miss for sure. Beginners will find it very difficult to use it. Liquid liners better than these are available in market to try.
