Hello Ladies!!!

I am not exactly a gloss person. I don’t know why, but I never seem to be comfortable when I am wearing a gloss. I feel like some sticky-slimy stuff is on my lips. Also, while travelling there seems to be dust particles sticking to it. So I generally avoid using a lip gloss. But, with all the reviews here, it is so tempting, that I went ahead and bought this lip polish. Its probably a combo of a lipstick and a gloss.

Packaging: This polish comes in a rectangular transparent body, wherein the actual product is inside an inverted looking lipstick bullet tube. Its kind of really cute. It is transparent and helps in easy color identification. The cap is silver color and has the applicator attached to it.

My Experience With Maybelline Color Sensational Glam 3 Lip Polish:

Glam 3 is basically an orangey peach shade. It has a consistency which is much thicker than a gloss and less than a lipstick. The texture is extremely creamy smooth and it glides on the lips effortlessly. It is free of shimmer, but has a glossy finish to it. Although this seems like a combo of gloss and lipstick, it does not give complete coverage to the lips. It would not show up in its fullest color on very dark or pigmented lips. The color is easily buildable with multiple layers.

Although the texture is creamy, I feel that the first application is a bit streaky, and multiple layers are required to get it right. But with multiple layers, I feel a bit heavy on my lips. I mean I could sense that the product was on my lips. I didn’t use any lip balm underneath, but it did not feel dry or patchy. The company claims it to be like a balm and moisturizing, which was not an obvious thing that I noticed, but no quick drying either. It will accentuate fine lines and flaky lips.

It stayed on for 3-4 hours without any water or meal breaks. It does not survive meals or for a matter of even simple munching. It does transfer easily and starts feeling sticky in sometime. The leaf shaped applicator is good and spreads the lip polish evenly.
