Which Camera To Use for Makeup and Beauty Reviews

I badly need some suggestions for buying a camera this time. So, I will request you all to suggest me some model numbers. The camera will be mainly used for clicking images for IMBB 🙂 My budget is Rs. 10,000. and also please suggest what features to look for while buying the camera.

Hi Sreya……very happy to read that you are buying a cam especially for reviews….:) I would suggest Sony Cybershot cameras which you can get easily within your budget. Starting from 7000 to 10,000, different models are available with varying megapixels and zoom. Also, Nikon Coolpix cameras are great for clicking products.
While, selecting a camera, look for 16 megapixels or higher and 5x to 10x zoom or higher 🙂
Well, if you plan to click all the pics yourself, you might want to get an advanced point and shoot because, at least the swatch pics you’ll have to click with a single hand. Hence, point and shoot would be handy. As for the specs, I can’t offer the best advice.

Aparajita……no problem at all, your pics are very clear 🙂 mera firsht wala camera only 5 mega pixel tha…..but koosh nahin….in 10,000, aaram se 16 megapixel mil jayega 🙂
hi dear, u can get a decent camera in 10k budget. any consumer camera from sony/nikon/canon/samsung will be good. points to be considered are megapixels, zoom, focus, flash, lens, HD recording, etc. most of the cameras are good with basics these days.
i like sony for its lens quality and usage friendly.

wow….what a query u have asked Sreya…..i will also buy a camera in a day or two n even I want the same for clicking pics for my reviews here….somebody was suggesting me canon….. i am noting down all suggestions…..
yes i have sony and canon. both are good but sony’s clarity is awesome but as a matter of fact u really need to practice with sony as it is so clear that sometimes it captures all the flaws in your face e.g. if u have oily face u can easily see it in the pics (hate it sometimes)… so i use canon mostly.

The brighter the ambient light, the lesses details will show. Probably sony camera is programmed to capture your face/ smile etc. But try this experiment- take your face picture in sunlight..then mover further towards the shade. Check what works the best. 🙂

Oh my th samsung galaxy phone looks too good nai!!!! M lovin samsung these days a lot. Phone n tv recently bought both samsung.. So wanna splurge on tat camera.. It’l b a luxury though not a necessity 🙁 but review pics wil come out so pyaari! 😀
Sreya, do check out electronic stores wher u get multiple brands n try takin pics with them all, th 1s u like remember them n then research on them online.. U’l get a fair idea n then go in for a final purchase after further checkin wher u’l get th best price.. If u plan on takin EOTD n LOTD n such self shots make sure its easy to hold th camera n click while holdin it pointing at urself.. 🙂 with brands sony or canon wud b my personal pics.. Hav used n loved them

sony all the way… very simple to use, and very good pics… go in for a carl zeiss lens!
i would suggest you buy canon. 🙂 i have a digi cam and recently bought a SLR from canon.. I’ve no complaints absolutely with any of these :* and canon service is really awesome.. my experience with them is wonderful..
I use the nikon coolpix L 23 , a simple one at that, if that helps :))

I use a Sony Cybershot DSC-W510, it is 12 MP but it works perfect for my review pics including swatches :D….don’t have much idea about the price as my sis gifted me 🙂
i use Samsung galaxy.. its 8 mega pixel 🙁 for reviews, i borrow my friend’s camera because phone pics are not allowed any more on imbb.. now m confused between nikon coolpix n canon l26.. i will get it once my result comes and if hopefully i pass 🙁
I have samsung galaxy 3 and a nikond3100 both are awesome.ipad also click very clear pictures.
Canon S95 is awesome for beginners..!! it wud be great choice within ur budget!!
I recently purchased Nikon Coolpix S6300 of Rs. 9000 approx. It is a 16 mega pixel camera with 10x zoom which gives great picture quality. Nikon and Canon are used by professionals and are much better than Sony DigiCams.
