I went on a major beauty shopping spree recently and picked up several products for my skin (suddenly, I realized that my skin needs care :P). I have been in love with Montagne Jeunesse products and picked out almost every variant they had and today, I have come up with the review on Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Black Seaweed Peel-Off Masque.
Product Description:
Start a fresh and remove impurities with mineral infused laver seaweed. Natural minerals from Laver Seaweed and Sea Buckthorn deeply cleanses and draws out dirt and oil. Once dried, the mask peels away dead skin, impurities and excess oil.
How To Use:
Cleanse face. Apply Mask. Relax for 15-20 mins. Peel mask off gently.

My Experience with Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Black Seaweed Peel Off Mask:
I always have a thing for Black Seaweed! I pick up products if they have the mere mention of “sea” in the description and that’s how this one came into my kitty. I have never used peel-off masks from Montagne and this was the perfect time to try it as I am going on a short vacation.
The mask comes in a 10 ml pouch similar to the other ones in the same range. The quantity is less and thus it comes up only for one application. The mask is pitch black in color and has a runny consistency. This is a little messy and I had the product all over the sink and running down my fingers, so I need to be a little careful with this mask. There is no smell as such to the product. The product can be easily applied to the face and once applied, you need to leave it for approximately 20 to 25 minutes for it to completely dry. You can feel the dryness and then you can pull off the mask.
As they have mentioned, the mask can be peeled out easily. I always had difficulties with peeling out masks after they dry out, but this came out without leaving any residue behind. Areas where I had applied the mask thinly, I experienced issues while peeling it out. The mask astonishingly peeled out a few whiteheads that I had on the corners of my nose too, even though not completely, there were some differences. The mask doesn’t dry out the skin and the skin can be left just like that, but I prefer to follow up with a moisturizer.
After peeling off the mask, my skin felt fresh and even though there was no fresh or “brightening” effect, the mask left my skin oil free and had cleared off the dead skin. As it is a peel-off mask, it also removes tiny loose hair on the face and makes the skin smooth. So overall, this is a good peel-off mask, but it cannot be trusted to add radiance for any special occasion as it just cleanses the skin, does not do anything extraordinary.

- Does not add any glow.
- Messy.
- Takes almost 20-25 minutes to dry.
