Hope all of you are doing fine and are all set for summers! I only love summers for refreshing fruit chaats and juices unlike winters when I just shiver by touching apples/mango.. 😛 Inspired by IMBB I already stocked upon fresh seasonal fruits, veggies and juices in advance. Now just waiting for scorching summers to eat them all.. lol Anyways you guys not only helped me in preparation for summers but also motivated me to grab few sheet masks from Montagne jeunesse! Yayyy, recently I noticed few sheet masks from MJ and I wonder why I never considered sheet masks before. I just grabbed as many as I can for I never knew when they will be OOS.

However, after using them for few weeks, I would not say I am hooked onto these masks but they are definitely life savior in hurry for messy mum like me! I could only get Dead sea mud spa and red earth clay spa sheet masks from MJ as of now. Today I will share their Dead Sea mud spa which is infused with sea minerals mainly seaweed and kelp! It is suitable for all skin types. So, please read on further to know more about it.

Product description: Breathe life back into skin with intensely invigorating and revitalising Dead Sea Minerals. We’ve harvested the oceans nutrient rich Seaweed and Kelp right from the source – A satisfying boost for thirsty skin and then some!

How to use: Remove make up and cleanse skin. Remove and unfold mask. Lean back, relax and put the mask on face, patting it down for maximum contact. Leave to work for 10-15 minutes to cool and calm your skin. Remove. Gently massage in any excess liquid. Splash face with cold water, pat dry.

My Experience with Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Spa:

Well messy mums like me always look out for such time and life savior products and let me tell you I do not have a sit back and relax time in my life.. 😛 I usually utilize my “me time” with these leisure masks and IMBB, not to forget hot ginger black pepper tea. Let’s talk about this mask now. The sheet is slightly thick like muslin cloth and is drenched in green wet mud which easily adheres on my skin. However the size of sheet is too big for my face so I opted to cut it down into two pieces and use accordingly for maximum benefits. It is slight wet mask which dries after 15-20 minutes leaving behind traces of pale green mud on skin which are easily removable with water. I usually keep it for half an hour for maximum benefits as it gives me soothing, tingling sensation relieving from heating waves during day time! The moment I wear it, I notice cooling and tingling sensation. It really soothes my mind apart from skin for a while. Moreover, its seaweed kind of fragrance reminds me of Cinthol powder somehow!

I do need to moisturize my face after using it as it leaves my skin a bit stretchy. I also feel this mask gives instant brightening and deep cleansing results which are temporary and last for few good 4-6 hours. I skip toner after using this mask for a while but I cannot rely on these masks for long term benefits such as getting rid of black heads, achieving acne free flawless skin etc! Moreover, these sheet masks are definitely my go to mask in hurry. I usually like to grab them for long drives and hectic week days when I am literally revolving around baby’s classes, mom’s together potluck and grocery shopping! For a change they are really good though I still love to pamper myself with ole henriksen walnut scrub/TBS face masks or homemade face scrubs! I would recommend it to every messy mum like me and every gal irrespective of age, skin tone; it will suit anyone for it deeply cleanses and rejuvenates skin for a while without disturbing natural texture of our skin provided it fits on your face.. 😛

Pros of Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Spa:

• A dead sea mud sheet mask infused with goodness of silt, aloe, seaweed, kelp etc for soothing and rejuvenating skin
• It easily adheres on face thereafter drying without peeling or tugging my skin
• The mask does not irritates or disturbs natural texture of my skin
• It keeps my skin refreshed, revitalized and toned especially pores for good 4-6 hours
• Easily manageable and removable
• It just dries within 15-20 minutes leaving behind traces of mud which easily rinses off with water
• It definitely replaces my cleansing, toning routine when I am in hurry
• Available in travel friendly and hygienic pack

Cons of Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Spa:

• Their standard sheet is oversize for my face and hence it takes my several minutes to fit on my face .. 😛
• It cannot replace our traditional face masks or face packs as it only gives temporary results which are not long lasting or ineffective against basic oily skin issues such as blackheads, acne, oil control etc

As of now I love these sheet masks for cooling, refreshing experience apart from replacing my time engaging cleansing and toning routine, I usually skip toner after using it! However I use them once in a while and not always as they are ineffective on my blackheads, zits and blemishes, they just give me instant results which are temporary. Over all, for a change and while travelling they are must have..

I would rate this sheet mask 3.5/5 (1 marks deducted for oversize sheet and 0.5 for its pricey tag) for instant toned, refined and deep cleansed skin effect though it’s temporary!
