Montagne Jeunesse Hot Miracle and Ultra Shine Serum Review

Montagne Jeunesse Hot Miracle and Ultra Shine Serum

Montagne Jeunesse Hot Miracle and Ultra Shine Serum

This year I used a lot of heat styling stuff which resulted in damaged and brittle hair. I have been on a hair repairing mode since mid-year and so I have tried loads of hair conditioners and serums. On one of my trips to Boots, I had picked up a few Montagne Jeunesse Hot Miracle and Ultra Shine Serum. Here is the review for that.

The treatment comes in a one-time use sachet like all other Montagne Jeunesse products. The sachet is partitioned into two, one contains the Hot Miracle and the other the Ultra Shine Serum. The serum part is smaller than the other one.

You need to place the unopened sachet in a glass of warm water for a few minutes before use. First you shampoo your hair as you would normally do. Then, apply the Hot Miracle to your hair. The pack says apply from roots to tips. The Hot Miracle was a pale pista green colour with a mild pleasant smell. Because it was immersed in warm water, it felt warm and lovely when I applied it to my hair. It was so relaxing, I loved it. I applied it nicely on my hair and let it stay for a few minutes. The quantity provided is sufficient for shoulder length hair I feel and it was enough to cover all my hair.

Montagne Jeunesse

After a few minutes, I rinsed it off well and towel dried my hair. Then, I waited for 5 minutes and opened the serum pack. It’s a transparent serum with an oily feel and it’s a bit thicker than the other serums I have used. The oiliness could be due to the fact that it has Avocado oil. It did feel a bit heavy on my hair when I applied it. I wasn’t sure if it would dry up; however, eventually, it did dry up but left my hair a bit weighed down. Hair was moisturised and tangle free though.

Price:

Normally sold for £1.09, but I got it for 50 pence 🙂

Pros of Montagne Jeunesse Hot Miracle and Ultra Shine Serum:

  • Because it comes in one-time use packs, you do not end up using more than needed. It is also easy to carry on travels.
  • Contains avocado oil and cherry bark, both of which help to lock in the moisture.
  • Has pro-vitamin B5.
  • Helps in reconstructing damaged, bleached or coloured hair.
  • Priced reasonably.

Cons of Montagne Jeunesse Hot Miracle and Ultra Shine Serum:

  • The only major gripe I have is the packaging. Even though its cute and easy to carry, getting all the stuff out of the sachet is a bit messy.
  • The serum is a bit too oily for my liking as it felt heavy on my hair.

Will I Buy Montagne Jeunesse Hot Miracle and Ultra Shine Serum Again:

I loved the Hot Miracle while the serum was a bit oily for my taste. However, overall it worked well and left my hair hydrated and soft. Will buy it again for a weekend pamper.

Rating:

I will give it 4/5.
