In this post, I would be reviewing the shade “Mystic Marsala.” I am not surprised about why this lipstick is not yet on IMBB because it’s so fantastic that it is almost always out of stock! I have a back up of this lipstick, from Superdrug. It was a task for me to find a back-up of this lipstick. There was always just one piece of this lipstick available and that too, for a few seconds may be! Read on further for more details on this shade.

My Experience with MUA Matte Mystic Marsala Lipstick:
Need I say more, I own two of these, one is almost half, I could wear it every day without having to worry about owning an everyday pink! All for one quid, just 100 Indian Rupees when converted. This is a creamy matte lipstick which badly reminds me of Rose Fresque from Chambor’s Powder Matte range. “Rose Fresque” is bright whereas this shade is a more neutral, toned-down pink, very apt for office and everyday wear.
I don’t know where to begin praising this lipstick. It is smooth and creamy, opaque, but can get easily cakey in more swipes. The pink is just correct for all skin tones. It’s a very sophisticated pink for office and for college goers too. I tend to wear a brown pencil eyeliner and this lipstick at home too, for just looking slightly polished even without more makeup. This lipstick could look like a brownish pink easily on many skin tones and lips.
This lipstick is creamy but still not buttery. You can easily build it up on pigmented lips too. The lipstick settles in lines of the lips, like all matte lipsticks, but it never ever dries out my lips. You can look at very basic wear time of 2-3 hours with minimal transfer when you wear this lipstick.
Pros of MUA Matte Mystic Marsala Lipstick:
- Very universal, toned-down pink.
- Creamy matte texture.
- Does not feel drying.
- The price is too cheap for the quality of the product that it is!
- Cute packaging.
- Very everyday shade for all girls and women.
Cons of MUA Matte Mystic Marsala Lipstick:
- Almost always out of stock at Superdrug.
- Can get cakey or settle into lip lines.
- Wear time is average.
Would I Recommend/Repurchase MUA Matte Mystic Marsala Lipstick?
Of course, I have one back up and if my hubby travels to the UK again, he has to get me two more (it will be a task though).
