I actually didn’t go with any intention of buying stuff. But then Colorbar always tempts me. 🙂
I bought the Colorbar cool palette. 😀 😀 😀 And then I picked up a lemony gold pigment. They gave me free free free lipstick along with my purchase. Unfortunately they didn’t give me any color options. I wanted a brown lipstick but I am not sure how this particular brown would look on me. 😐
So I guess some looks with Colorbar cool palette are coming up. 🙂
Here is the pigment. I love colorbar pigments. It’s No 16 Lemon Gold color.
This is the free lipstick that they gave me. It’s a Colorbar Soft Touch lipstick . The shade number is 039. They have changed the packaging of soft touch lipsticks.
Then I went to MAC. I wanted to pick up Nymphette Lip glass and the Brush Cleanser. I tried Nymphette lipglass. It completely washed out the colour from my face. :(( There was so much golden golden pigment in the gloss. Well! The MUA had a blank expression on her face when I asked her how the lipglass on me looked. First she hesitated a bit and then she said, ” Well!! I think it would look nice if you apply it on top of a darker lip colour. ” grrr….Good way of saying, “it looks bad on you.” :pissedoff: Finally I decided to wear the lipglass the whole evening and as soon as hubby saw me , he couldn’t resist saying ” what happened to your previous lipstick? ” :weep: It looked so pretty in the tube and I wanted it to look pretty on me. :weep:
I just bought the MAC brush cleanser. Price Rs 600.
I was super curious to try it out. I came back home and took some cleanser on a tissue and wiped my datty brushes . Following are the before and after results. 🙂
I didn’t put in too much effort to clean the full brush because I was in a hurry to click the pics but still. 😛 Isn’t it awesome? 🙂
And the bottle has 235 ml product and you don’t need too much of it to clean the brush.

You know… technically there is a way to do ‘Before and After’ Photos. To make you really J I would have done the following- I would have bought a new brush and taken a picture (Picture 1) and then used it heavily, made it dirty, and then taken a picture (Picture 2).
Now picture 2 becomes ‘Before’ picture and Picture 1 becomes ‘After’ picture. 😀 😀
Just like they do in advertisement for bald guys or fat guys. Take a pic of a guy with hair or a slim guy (Picture 1) and then shave his head or fatten him and take a picture (Picture 2)
Now picture 2 becomes ‘Before’ picture and Picture 1 becomes ‘After’ picture.
P.S.– My wife didn’t do that. Otherwise the brush would have been cleaner. 😛

Yeah Jane, the bottle is huge. 🙂 I think washing brushes again and again would be harsher. Isn’t it. 🙁 I wash all my brushes every week and foundation brush every single day. So I thought I’d give some rest to my brushes. And this disinfects the brushes as well. 🙂

🙂 Try Lustreglass “Venetian” – a lustre, classic red with a hue of red shimmer particles.
On the MAC page swatch it looks pink, but it is a classic, lustre red, so the lustre texture will work with your natural lip color.
Plushglasses (shiny frost finish): “Full For You” (if you look for a bright one).
If you want something with only a hint of golden shimmer: “Oversexed”. But I am sure you will love Venetian :chic:

he he pigment is mainly used for eyeshadows but you can apply it where ever you want to. 😛
