NARS Skin Multi-Action Hydrating Toner Review

Hi Beauties,

I will be reviewing today a skin care product from NARS, which I have been using since the last 6 weeks. I have used it during the turn of spring into summer, and now during the scorching summers too; and also during the few cool days we have been experiencing now and then. I have dry to normal skin in colder days and normal to combination in summers. I love my skin care products to be alcohol free and so is this toner as well as the serum (Optimal Brightening Concentrate) which I will be reviewing next for you.

NARS Skin Multi-Action Hydrating Toner

My Experience with NARS Skin Multi-Action Hydrating Toner:

“NARS Skin” revamped its skin care line in 2012, and introduced ten new products. All these products are free of synthetic fragrance, alcohol and parabens. All these products are based on the “Light Reflecting Complex” technology. I bought the Toner and the Optimal Brightening Concentrate (Serum) from this range. Both these products are meant for normal to dry skin.

Packaging:  Like the other products from this range, this one also comes in a pure white (almost marble-stone like) box packaging, on which all details are mentioned. Inside, the box houses a frosted glass-like plastic, square bottle with a white cap. The entire packaging looks extremely chic and clean. The cap has to be pulled open, and it has a black twist nozzle, for a pump-like packaging.

Fragrance: This product is free of synthetic fragrance, but not of any fragrance at all. It has a beautiful citrusy fragrance, which smells very fresh and natural and an absolute delight, especially in these warm summer months.

Consistency: This is a liquid toner, colorless, and has a slightly thicker-than-water consistency. This may be due to the presence of glycerin in its ingredients. It does feel a bit sticky on the skin; and I feel that one-two pumps are enough for the face and neck area.

Results: It removes residual makeup very well and is absolutely perfect in its role as a toner. It hydrates the skin nicely; however, does feel a bit sticky on initial application. It does take some time for complete absorption into the skin.  You may have to decide your own requirement based on your skin type and weather conditions. People with combination to oily skin or those living in extreme humid conditions may not find this suitable. However, those with normal to dry skin, living in dry areas, in search of a hydrating toner; will definitely love this. In combination with the serum, it has definitely made my skin soft and smooth and clear, with a glow from within.
