Natasha Denona Golden Caribbean Coral Blush Duo Review

Hello everyone,

After experiencing outstanding eyeshadows from Natasha Denona (Palette #10 and Palette #11), I couldn’t wait to try more products from this brand. This review will be on Natasha Denona blush duo in the shade 13 Golden Caribbean Coral.

Product Description:
The soft and silky texture of this blusher gives a natural and bright look to the skin’s complexion. This duo blusher palette provides a dominant color (right side) and a more subtle color (left side) for blending and softening edges.

My Experience with Natasha Denona Golden Caribbean Coral Blush Duo:

Packaging:  The packaging of this blush is very simple yet sturdy and practical. The outer case has a same pale pink top regardless of the shade you have, which can be a bit frustrating if you own multiple shades from this range. I do wish there was some indication of the shade outside the case, apart from the tiny label sticker below.

The compact contains two shades – one lighter color designed to use as a highlight and the other one is a colored blush.

Texture/Blendability:  These powder blushes are very smooth and finely milled. They have a powdery texture and apply and blend effortlessly on the skin without going patchy or uneven. Some shades do contain shimmer but the shimmers are very very fine and non-gritty. They only lend themselves to the most beautiful, natural-looking glow on your skin. The shimmers are only visible on your skin under direct sunlight.

Pigmentation and Shade:  I have the shade duo “13 Golden Caribbean Coral,” which contains the shades 02 Toutou and 08 Golden Caribbean Coral. Both shades complement each other beautifully. The blush shade can be worn on its own or mixed together with the highlight.
Coral blush

The shade “Toutuo” is a beautiful warm-toned light peachy gold, it imparts a subtle glow; nothing as intense as true highlight products (like Becca shimmering skin perfector powders) hence you can apply this all over the cheek as well as a blush topper for some extra glow (since the blush shade is mostly matte-satin finish) or just concentrate it on the tops of the cheeks.

The blush shade is a bright coral pink. The pigmentation of the blush shade is outstanding and has a satin finish on the skin. You could easily go overboard if not careful with this, so make sure to use a light hand and build up the color slowly to your liking.

I find if you have made a mistake and applied too much, you can dip in the lighter highlight shade and go over it to lighten the intensity of the blush. This shade looks absolutely stunning on the skin and will complement most skin tones ranging from light-medium, even dusky. It will look gorgeous with a summer tan. It is such a summer shade and if I ever go on a Caribbean beach vacation, I am absolutely taking this with me.

Staying Power:  This blush has amazing staying power. It wore for over 8-9 hours on my skin till I removed it at the end of the day without much fading. It did not accentuate my dry patches or pores.

Overall, after an outstanding experience with the Natasha Denona eyeshadows, I have also fallen in love with her blush. This brand is bringing products up there in quality and worth every penny. I will recommend this product and will also be checking out other shades from this range.

In the FOTD, I have worn the blush shade by itself on the cheeks with the highlight shade on the tops of the cheek.
