Hello everyone,

I am going through a bit of a blush phase right now and I’m going crazy for trying new products. Today, I am going to review a blush called “Rouge Glow” by the brand Natio.

My Experience with Natio Rouge Glow Blusher:

Natio was founded in Melbourne in 1993 as a family run business using plant-based beauty products. The products are not tested on animals and most of their products are vegan-friendly except their brushes. Rather than spending money on fancy packaging and promotions, they concentrate on making the product in the right manner. I think I started using Natio products early this year. My husband gifted me a toner from Natio which I loved and this made me try more products from this Local Australian Line.

I was on the lookout for blushes and saw some cuties in this line and was tempted to get one. They don’t have a wide collection of blushes. But, there are 4 individual blushes in the shades Rouge Glow, Peach Glow, Pink Apples and Rosewood and they also have 2 blush palettes. I liked the colour “Rouge Glow” from the individual blush range, and unfortunately, there was no tester available, so I picked this up out of sheer excitement.

This blush comes in a small and cute compact case. The upper lid is not a see through one so, it’s a bit difficult to see the colour from outside. It does not contain a brush or mirror. The packaging is passable but, not that great. This light pink blush contains shimmery particles and in the case, it looks like a dark pink, though. This is a very sheer blush, not very pigmented as NYX blushes. The colour blends easily and is buildable, the slight shimmer adds a subtle dewiness to the skin. The colour doesn’t show much on medium or dusky beauties but, it will give a natural glow to fair skinned beauties. I think this blush range was mainly created for Australian beauties with a fairer skin tone. It gives a nice glow to the skin and will look more like a highlighter on duskier beauties. So, if you want a natural highlighting sheer blush you can give this a try. But I don’t really like these as I am more into pigmented blushes which offer a good pop of colour to the cheeks.
