Hope all of you are doing great. I have been away for so long, God I missed all the good stuff, was a little too tied up with office stuff.
Anyways, in the past month I have been experimenting with lots of face washes for some reason. I guess it is my Face wash phase now…. I just find myself drawn towards the face wash counter and land up picking at least one.
So, today’s review is one such face wash. Among all the ones that I picked I found this to be good and hence I have decided to share this one with you guys. Now this is nothing new, it has been there over the counters for long now but I got tempted to try this range only after my sister offered me to try out the scrub from the same range and it imparted such a cleansed glow to my face and hence I ended up buying this one as well.
Price: INR 60 for 60ml
The product comes in a ‘casual face wash’ types of packaging and the tube is of yellowish golden color with the pattern of a bee-hive on it indicating the presence of honey in it.
The product contains very minute golden glitter (which I am not sure should be considered as actual gold dust) and the product is very much on the runny side. So much so that even the slightest pressure on the tube just pops out a lot of the liquid making the nozzle and flipcap very messy. And the product smells very nectarine and is not very bothersome.
Key Ingredients: Honey, Golden Dust, Vitamin E.
My experience with Nature’s Essence Gold Illuminating Face Wash:
So having had a good experience with the scrub from the same range I had great hopes with the face wash too and I must say I am not disappointed. I use the face wash in an as usual manner of applying on wet face and massaging for a minute or two until it lathers and wash it off.
It leaves the skin cleansed, not squeaky clean though, but still it does feel clean and free of any kind of grime and what I like about it is that it brightens up my face post wash.
I have been using this face wash for the past three weeks and I love it for what it does to my complexion and I guess I am going to stick to it for a good while now.
Pros of Nature’s Essence Gold Illuminating Face Wash:
• Does what it claims, gives a fresh and radiant complexion.
• Reasonably priced.
• Smells good.
• Did not break me out.
• Does not dry out skin post wash.
• Leaves the skin feeling supple.
Cons of Nature’s Essence Gold Illuminating Face Wash:
• Product is too runny.
• The presence of gold dust cannot really be debated.
