Nature’s Essence Walnut Foot Scrub Review

We all tend to buy expensive make up products for our face to look beautiful, but most often forget that it is our feet which need the utmost care. I was also negligent till I got some horrible cracks. I started with regular pedicures and always ensured that I had socks put on whenever I went out. Over a period of time, the cracks heeled, but now I don’t take any chances.

In my attempt to be more careful towards my feet, I picked up a scrub in last summers which I shall be reviewing today i.e. Nature’s Essence Walnut Foot Scrub.

Walnut Grains, Rose Petal Oil

My Experience with Nature’s Essence Walnut Foot Scrub:

It comes in an opaque orange coloured jar. It also has an additional transparent cover to to prevent the scrub from coming onto the inner corners of the cap. The inner cover is a bit tight to open and may break your nails so better be careful. It is a wide mouthed jar so its easy to take out the product. I always use a small spatula to scoop out the scrub. There is nothing fancy about the packaging. It is a simple plastic jar.

The first thing that you will notice post opening the jar is the fragrance, it smells highly of roses. Though, I hate fragrances in the cosmetics, but this one was an exception as I quite liked it.

When I put it on my feet and started scrubbing there was a sweet flowery smell all around. It looks more like a gel based scrub with minute bright magenta coloured scrub particles. I vigorously scrubbed my feet for 3-4 minutes in circular options and washed off with with cold water.

Since, the scrub particles are not gritty, it dint give me the feeling of proper exfoliation. For my feet, I need something more rugged and abrasive, on the contrary this turned out to be a very gentle scrub. My feet looked cleaner no doubt, but not properly exfoliated. It did moisturize my skin, but did not remove the dead skin. Also, the main ingredient reads as walnut grains. Neither could I feel its presence nor could I smell it.

Pros of Nature’s Essence Walnut Foot Scrub:

• Inexpensive and easily available.
• Sweet flowery fragrance. Please note it may not be a positive point for all because fragrances are very subjective.

Cons of Nature’s Essence Walnut Foot Scrub:

• Is not at all effective as a foot scrub. The granules are way to gentle to scrub the feet.
• The inner transparent lid might break your nails as it is fits tightly on the opening.
• Bulky and boring orange coloured plastic packaging.

Will I Repurchase Nature’s Essence Walnut Foot Scrub?

No, I will not. I don’t mind spending a few extra bucks and getting something for the feet that actually works.

Do I Recommend Nature’s Essence Walnut Foot Scrub?

It is an average product which you can try if you want to pamper your feet with sweet rosy smelled gentle scrub but don’t expect it to do much on the exfoliation front.
