A moisturizer is the base of all makeup. We should always apply moisturizer to provide a clean and even surface for our makeup to glide onto. Today, I’ll be reviewing Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Soothing Lotion.

My Experience with Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Soothing Lotion:
As the directions say, for optimal use, I apply this all over my face and neck after showering. This lotion is perfect for my sensitive and dry skin around my face as well as my oily t-zone area. I believe this actually controls the oil around my nose and prevents my nose from becoming oily and shiny throughout the day. I have been using this lotion for my face for about a year and I’ve noticed that my acne has become more controlled as well as the dryness I get in the winter time.
I think this is actually the perfect moisturizer for year round wear, definitely better than my Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion+. I’ll definitely continue to use this as its working well with my skin.
As for the smell of this lotion, I think it’s quite strong, but seems fine to me. It’s not so overpowering to the point it will give you a headache, but if you’re not a fan of strong fragrances, this lotion may not be the product for you. It’s not that the scent is bad or anything, it’s just really strong and will linger around for a while.

If you’re okay with strong fragrances, this is a great daily moisturizer for year round use. I recommend this to anyone with combination to dry skin. It really helps control the oil on my nose which is so essential in feeling confident for me.
Would I Repurchase Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Soothing Lotion?
I will be repurchasing this product as soon as my current one runs out. It definitely lasts a long time because I have had mine for two months and I’m not even at the halfway mark of completion.
