Neutrogena Visibly Even Foaming Cleanser Review

After the debacle of Aveeno Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser, I was wary to pick up another cleanser which falls in the same category i.e. a cream cleanser, but Neutrogena products haven’t failed me till now and the name of this one itself said “foaming cleanser” and so I picked it up.

My Experience with Neutrogena Visibly Even Foaming Cleanser:

I have sensitive, super dry, acne-prone skin that is beginning to show the first signs of aging. Apart from saying that, it’s a foaming cleanser, it also claims to brighten and even out the skin tone, giving you smooth and radiant skin. This was the main reason for picking up this particular cleanser.

The cleanser comes in a dual tone brown-white colored tube which has a flip open cap. The cap shuts tight and makes the tube travel friendly. The smell is the another thing I love about this product. Fragrance really matters for me. The products I use should smell good – good fragrance or no fragrance. 😉 This smells light and refreshing and I love using it on my face first thing in the morning because the smell instantly wakes me up.

The cleanser is white in color and has a creamy consistency. The soy granules are sparsely distributed in the cleanser. The granules do not irritate the skin and are apt for daily cleansing and mild enough for daily exfoliation. They are not packed as in a scrub.

The first time I used the cleanser, I saw immediate results. My face did look bright and my skin was soft, smooth and radiant. However, my dry skin felt a little dryer, nothing that a moisturizer cannot fix. 😉

Though, the name says it’s a foaming cleanser, it really doesn’t foam much.  There is very little foam and it does feel like I am using a cream face wash only, but my skin feels and gets squeaky clean.

Regular usage has made my skin radiant, smooth and bright. I have been using it for a month. There is a change in the appearance of my skin. My skin is even tone. The scars, blemishes have faded a bit (not completely) and my skin does look younger. 😀 But then, I cannot totally give the credit to this cleanser since I have been using my Esteè Lauder Enlighten Serum simultaneously which I have been using regularly twice a day and most of the change in my skin is due to that. 😀

Most importantly, it has neither irritated my skin nor broken me out. This would suit all skin types.

Yes, I do recommend this cleanser. This would suit all skin types. And if you are looking for a mild exfoliator for daily use, then this is your product.
