Today, I am going to review a blue colored eyeliner from NYC and the shade is “Moody blue”. I was in search of a blue liner for a long time and I had originally decided to purchase Urban decay 24/7 liner. But when I came across this liner in a drug store, I thought why not try this one first. NYC liners come in 7 different shades and I picked this blue shade.Now I am sure that I will not purchase any high-end eyeliners after this one. Let me share more information about this liner.

My take on New York Color #935 Moody Blue Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil:

The shade “Moody blue” is a dark blue color with light blue shimmer in it. The shimmer really pops up the color. The liner is very very creamy. Texture-wise I can very well compare this liner to Urban Decay 24/7 liner. Because of its creamy texture, it just glides on the eyes. If we need a smokey look, we can very well blend this liner. Since it has minimum shimmer, we can use it to line our upper and lower water line as well.

Pigmentation is very strong. We get the perfect color with one swipe. To get a very intense look, apply 2 to 3 coats. This blue shade works well with all eye colors. Moody blue is a very opaque color and has has a surprisingly good staying power. It stays for 6 to 7 hours without smudging. At the end of the day, we might find difficult to remove it. It is better to use a makeup remover to remove the last traces. In addition to that, the liner is waterproof . I can wearing it in the scorching heat as well, I have sensitive eyes and did not have any issues with this one. You do get a lot of shades to choose from.

Since it is a pencil liner, we need to sharpen it often.This might lead to product wastage as each usage requires sharpening.

Overall, Moody blue is a budget-friendly liner. It is worth the money. It works just like many other high-end eyeliners. I reach for this liner almost every day.
