Hope all of you are doing fine! Today I am here to share a lip product from my old stash which recently resurfaced any guesses..? Well it’s a shimmery pink lip gloss from New York Color. I hope you remember my mil hoarded them on her visit last year and since then they are always in demand among our college & office going sis and sis in laws.

I also came to know about these goodies through my cousins & sis in laws who are pretty much updated on these budget friendly and great stuff as compared to me.. 😛 lol Anyways please read on further to know more about NYC Liquid lipshine Lip gloss, bowery blush..

Packaging: The thick shimmery gloss comes in as usual transparent plastic tube packaging with black cap. The travel friendly packaging looks classy and gives a clear idea of shade inside. It does have a faint vanilla fragrance which fades after few minutes.

My Experience With NYC Liquid Lipshine Lipgloss Bowery Blush:

We have plans to visit India during Diwali holidays in next 6-7 months and my younger relatives have already decided about NYC, wet & wild stuffs apart from other make up gifts gosh! Hubby is already nervous for he is the one and only jijaji & bhai who lives onsite and visiting them after 3-4 years that too after our wedding and having a baby now! Expectations are very high at the other end and we are nervous let’s see how it goes. My sisters and sis in laws want to hoard all possible goodies which are easy on their pocket money and wearable regularly; which is good as it won’t hurt my hubby’s pocket lol.. 😛 Even I am also getting little motivation from them to try these freaking cheap goodies myself! Coming to this “bowery blush”, it seems shimmery pink gloss in tube which is perfect for college & office going gals as it hardly looks loud on the lips. It gives slight shimmery and sheer pink glossy tint on lips without looking frosty thankfully! I agree it is too sheer but I love to use it over my matte lipsticks for juicy shiny effect especially during evening potlucks or get togethers! It would not conceal pigmented lips as it gives sheer coverage with sparkles.

The shade will compliment most  fair/medium Asian skin tone beauties. It matches my natural lip color hence I am pretty okay to wear it alone as well! Moreover, I am always bowled over their texture which is unbelievable for their price know! It is neither too sticky nor runny to bleed on lips, just perfect! Even few of my Maybelline color elixirs glosses feel sticky when I swipe them more than once but these NYC glosses never feel sticky! They are sticky enough to just adhere evenly on skin with sheer coverage; and yet hydrating and balmy to give soft supple lips for good 3-4 hours which is highly appreciable from stuff costing about a dollar or two isn’t? Even with those shimmers they never look frosty for a while and they slather easily on dry lips without accentuating any further issues . I also noticed it never bleeds nor feathers on my lips and I never used lip balm beneath these glosses.

They stay for pretty good 4-6 hours with light snacks on my lips leaving behind subtle pink sheen with shimmers; while I need to reapply them after one heavy meal which is pretty fine.  I just feel they should have been little more pigmented with less shimmers so as to be wearable for every age group including beauties with pigmented lips as well. However I do see there is no age bar for frosty, shimmery lip stuff as every beauty flaunts shimmery make up these days irrespective of age! It is a must try range for every college, office going gal in her teenage or early 20s preferably. My younger relatives love them and so do I, though I am more into high end stuff these days (courtesy IMBB & IMBBians) but childhood love is anyways first love what say gals..

Pros of New York Color Liquid Lipshine Lip Glos – Bowery Blush

 A shimmery yet subtle pink gloss which gives natural finishing with subtle sparkles on lips without looking frosty
 Even with tons of shimmers it feels light on lips
 It is neither runny nor thick just perfect to adhere on skin without giving tacky feel which is really impressive and highly comparable to many good drugstore lip glosses honestly
 It slathers evenly and effortlessly on my lips without accentuating dry lips issue further
 As long as it stays on my lips, I don’t need lip balm or feel any dryness
 Even if I remove it off, my lips feel soft and hydrated for few good hours
 It glides easily on chapped lips as well without settling on lip crevices or scaly skin isn’t amazing?
 It will compliment every fair/medium Asian skin tone of any age group as I love wearing it over my matte lipsticks as well as on its own.
 It gives sheer coverage and sheer pink tint on lips still it manages to stay for good 4-6 hours with light snacks skipping heavy meals though
 Considering its texture, finishing, staying power and travel friendly packaging which is comparable to many average drugstore brands, I feel it is as steal and must have for every gal who is on budget.

Cons of New York Color Liquid Lipshine Lip Glos – Bowery Blush:

• The shade looks gorgeous in tube but its way subtle and sheer on lips hence it might not be good for beauties with pigmented lips
• It does transfer
Apart from its sheer coverage and subtle pigmentation I don’t have any reason to skip it gals! It is a major hit among my younger relatives and they just love these shimmery glosses. Not to forget their texture is way better than many drugstore glosses which often form lip tars or threads once I purse my lips together while swiping them 2-3 times! Gals if you are looking for budget friendly, subtle and shimmery glosses then go for it! However if you are looking for high intense pigmentation then sorry this bowery blush is certainly a skip but I am sure you will get your choice in other shades.
