My Experience with Nivea Anti-Acne Wash-Peeling:
Recently, I had a breakout caused due to Nivea In Shower Make Up Remover. I hate how painful the breakouts are and hate the scars they leave. My skin takes months to get rid of those scars. So, when the breakout happened, I wanted to do my best to take care and hence started using this Nivea Anti Acne Wash Peeling which is actually a face wash.
The packaging is very beautiful. It comes in a tube which is easy to squeeze and the dispenser hole is also small making it easy for the user to control the product. The tube looks slightly turquoise. I love the color! The cap is a lid with a flip. Easy to open and also closes tight. It will not accidentally open during travel or so.
The product is thin in consistency. It’s not watery, but thinner than most of the face washes. It’s almost transparent in color. It also has added peeling particles. The product contains Magnolia bark extract. Magnolia bark extract is known to be used in traditional Chinese medicine.
It has been proven to possess antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antitumor and antimicrobial properties. Impressive! Isn’t it? 😉
After using it for few days this is what I felt:
• I use a dime size for every face wash. It covers my entire face and neck.
• The face is deeply cleaned. The pain and intensity of the breakouts is reduced. Other claims are difficult to access. But, I hope it’s doing the good things as it claims.
• The exfoliating particles are not really effective. They are scarce and also slip away while rubbing on the skin. I prefer to use a separate face scrub or exfoliator.
• It claims to be a ‘complete package of face wash + scrub + acne control’. But, I would say it’s a face wash that controls acne, and not an effective scrub.
Pros of Nivea Anti-Acne Wash-Peeling:
• Handy and travel friendly packaging
• Contains Magnolia bark extract which has lots of benefits
• Visible anti-inflammatory effects
• Very mildly perfumed

I love Nivea face washes. They never caused me any problem in the past. This could have been a good product for soothing my angry breakouts.
