The product is called “Nivea Daily Essentials 2 In 1 Face Wash & Scrub – Combination/Oily Skin”. Let’s see if this one serves the purpose or fails to impress.

My Experience with Nivea Daily Essentials 2 In 1 Face Wash & Scrub – Combination/Oily Skin:

I have a combination skin which behaves well only in winter. So, this is the happy season for my skin. I really like the idea of scrub washes as it saves my time and effort :P. I have been a die-hard fan of L’Oreal Pure Zone Wash-Scrub but it dries out my skin in this rough weather. So, I went ahead and picked Nivea Daily Essentials 2 In 1 Face Wash & Scrub – Combination/Oily Skin because it claims to be formulated with Hydra IQ, which retains the natural moisture of your skin.

The squeezable plastic tube packaging is simple and comes with a flip open cap. The product is apple green in colour with micro blue scrub particles for exfoliation. Coming to the performance, unlike regular face washes, a small amount won’t create a rich lather and you’ll need a good amount for a clean and satisfactory wash.

The face wash makes the skin squeaky clean and you can feel micro scrub particles, trying to exfoliate your skin. The particles are so few and mild that they fail the scrub purpose actually. You can consider this product a really mild scrub which makes it ideal for sensitive skin or when you intend to step out in the sun immediately after the wash.

Apart from that, it claims to be formulated with Ocean Algae and Hydra IQ. The purpose of these two ingredients is to re-vitalize skin, control shine yet retain natural moisture in skin. Also, the product is dermatologically tested to be compatible with oily/combination skin and I could not agree more. The scrub keeps shine at bay and gives a clear skin with radiant look for few hours and cleanses the pores as well. Still, I would say that exfoliation is insufficient.

The product has never broken me out. It has a mild pleasant fragrance of essential oils.

Will I Recommended/Repurchase Nivea Daily Essentials 2 In 1 Face Wash & Scrub – Combination/Oily Skin?

If you are looking for a mild scrub or have sensitive skin, there is no harm in opting for this one. But, if you want a good exfoliating scrub, skip it. I will not be repurchasing as I am not too impressed with the product’s performance.
