Today, I would be reviewing Nivea Diamond Gloss Shine Conditioner. From my previous review, you all know that the corresponding shampoo was a big failure. The conditioner works a little better than the shampoo. Read on for more details.
$4.99 for a quantity of 200 ml (but the price various across different outlets).
Mid to long hair can look dull and lifeless, lacking shine and softness. Available in 200ml
How It Works:
Diamond Gloss Conditioner with fine diamond particles and BIOSOFT System:
- Improves combability without weighing down.
- Makes your hair reflect light in all its facets.
- Provides your hair smoothness and suppleness.
- Dazzling diamond shine.
- Precious feel.
Apply to wet hair after shampooing, massage gently, rinse thoroughly.
My Experience with Nivea Diamond Gloss Shine Conditioner:
The packaging is very similar to its shampoo variant except that like all regular conditioners, the bottle has an opening at the bottom of the bottle, maybe because conditioner is a heavy product. The conditioner comes in a regular cylindrical bottle with a flip-open type of packaging and the bottle closes perfectly, so there are no issues about leakage at all. The bottle is grayish lavender in color with a holographic sticker and pinkish magenta fancy font. The packaging is much prettier than any drugstore packaging. The conditioner has a fruity fragrance, but has a strong chemical smell too. So, the overall fragrance is a chemically fruity one which is very unpleasant.
The conditioner is really thick compared to other conditioners that I have used so far. I literally have to struggle to squeeze out the conditioner for using it. The conditioner is white in color and is devoid of any shimmers. It spreads easily on the hair and washing it off is not a hassle. Now, the conditioner does help in making my hair soft and making it a bit shiny too, but not very shiny. I was pretty disappointed because this was a shine conditioner and it didn’t help much in that department. But other than that it does help in taming frizz and doesn’t make my hair dry and since the shampoo was so bad, I usually pair up this conditioner with other shampoos and yes it still manages keeping my hair soft.
Pros of Nivea Diamond Gloss Shine Conditioner:
- Makes hair soft.
- Reduces frizz.
- Doesn’t make my hair dry.
- Easy to wash it off.
Cons of Nivea Diamond Gloss Shine Conditioner:
- Doesn’t add much shine.
- Not available in India.
- Unpleasant fragrance.
Would I Repurchase Nivea Diamond Gloss Shine Conditioner?
Well, this works just like a regular conditioner and does nothing out of the world so I wouldn’t repurchase this.
Do I Recommend Nivea Diamond Gloss Shine Conditioner?
There are many other conditioners in the Indian market which do the same job and do not smell unpleasant too. So I wouldn’t really recommend it to anyone as it’s just a regular conditioner with no exceptional results.
