Today’s review is about Nivea Intimo Mild Fresh.
There was once a time when I needed intimate wash gels every day and felt uncomfortable when not used. But somewhere somehow I stopped using it and never realized.
Recently when I was picking some panty-liners from the drugstore I noticed the intimate wash gel section and was over whelmed. I found something from Nivea which I had never tried. I want to make sure it’s a part of my daily routine from now on. So here goes the review.

NIVEA intimate natural contains natural ingredients like camomile extract, bisabolol and lactic acid, giving your intimate area the freshness and care it needs. Lactic acid is a substance naturally present in your intimate area. It ensures a constant pH-level and thus prevents skin irritations. The natural camomile extract and bisabolol are well known for their calming properties.

My Experience with Nivea Intimo Mild Fresh:
The packaging is very simple. It comes in a plastic container which is attached to a pump dispenser. The color of the pump is pleasant green and the rest is cream in color. The pump dispenser can be locked by turning; once locked there is no chance of leakage, which makes it travel safe.
Even though its travel safe, I would not prefer packing it for a shorter trip. The packaging is not very handy and will take quite a bit of space in the toiletry bag. I wish it was available in travel size too.
The wash gel is very runny in consistency. It is transparent in color. It has a hand disinfectant smell combined with floral smell. The disinfectant smell is natural due to the ingredients but the floral smell is due to the added perfume. Perfumed products in intimate area are not the best and I personally would have preferred a non-perfumed one.
The product doesn’t produce lots of froth.
The fact that it is transparent, watery and doesn’t result in lots of froth leads to usage of more product than actually required. At least I do so and I guess it’s a natural thing to feel it is not sufficient and you use more and more of product.
After washing the area feels clean and fresh. It also has a cooling effect on the area used.
The ingredients list looks impressive except for the perfume. It contains castor oil, chamomile extract, bisabolol and Lactic acid. The Lactic acid is mainly responsible for the required pH balance. Chamomile extract and bisabololare known to have calming effects.
Not all intimate wash suits everyone. So it is nice to have a wide range to choose from.
Pros of Nivea Intimo Mild Fresh:
• Leaves the area clean and fresh.
• Calming effect on the used area.
• Not expensive.
• Pump dispenser.
Cons of Nivea Intimo Mild Fresh:
• Perfumed.
• Very runny consistency.
• Doesn’t create a lot of froth.
• Tend to use more of the product.

Will I Buy Nivea Intimo Mild Fresh?
Am not really sure. I have a feeling that I use more than what is required and using up the product quickly. I would also prefer non-perfumed one.
Do I Recommend Nivea Intimo Mild Fresh?
If you don’t mind or prefer perfumed product then go for it. The cost is not so high and is worth a try.
