As much as I love makeup, I make sure to remove every trace of it at the end of the day. I cannot sleep with gunk on my face and hence I always look out for cleansing wipes, micellar water, cleansing water, makeup remover. Nivea has this whole range of “makeup clear” with a variety of stuff (reviews coming up) and I picked up this pack of Wipes from the range. Read on to know how it fared for me.

My Experience with Nivea Makeup Clear Cleansing Wipes:

The wet wipes come in a typical white “Nivea” outer cover. The stick-on cover has pretty strong adhesive, so it is not an issue to store it. Thankfully the information on the pack is in English which makes it easier to follow. I am mentioning this because most of the upcoming reviews will have all description in Korean.

These effectively remove makeup but I find these to be slightly less saturated. I would have loved a more wet feel to the wipes which would help in removing makeup easily. I am not saying it doesn’t remove makeup but a little effort is required in the process. Wipes which are more wet does the job easily compared to this.

On the other hand I like the mild exfoliation that happens while removing the makeup, as the wipes are textured. Also these are slightly bigger and thicker compared to regular wet wipes. Even if you are not removing makeup, you can use them as regular wet wipe to get an instant boost of freshness without dehydrating your skin. Overall it is a good handy option but definitely not the best out there.
