My Experience with Nivea Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Serum Pearls:
Before I start giving my review, let me tell you that I have tested this product for a little over 2 weeks. My friend recommended this to me and I have sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts with any new product, so I had tried her product for a week before I got myself one! So, it is clear that it didn’t break me out 🙂
This serum comes in a pump bottle. I like it considering the fact that it is hygienic. The bottle is plastic and transparent. The pump initially takes time to warm up and I thought that it has a problem but once the product came out, there has been no issues. The pump comes in a box and is sealed, so no issues of worrying that it has been tampered with. The pump bottle is travel friendly.
The serum pearls are yellow in color and that can be seen through the transparent bottle. These pearls feel like tiny eggs than like pearls! There is a transparent fluid and when pumped the pearls and the fluid get mixed and come out. The texture is uneven and fluffy. When the pearls get smashed, it then looks like a lumpy yellow mousse. The cream is smooth and easy to spread. It has a pleasant fragrance but its more like cologne and feels like a masculine smell.
One pump is enough to apply for the face and neck. I saw in a video that you need to mix it well before applying on your face. This way the liquid and the pearls get mixed well together and provide maximum benefits. The cream is very light and spreads like butter, smoothly. It doesn’t make my skin oily or greasy. It keeps my skin like it is except that it looks healthy and glowing. My skin also looks very hydrated and moisturized. I have combination skin so I really don’t have to follow up with a moisturizer and I apply foundation or bb cream and continue. I have flaky skin due to dryness near and on top of my nose, but this doesn’t camouflage that dryness; however, it goes away after 10 minutes.
The serum can be used at night and in the morning. I use a night serum and I am using it only in the morning. I also leave the serum alone if I don’t use makeup and it makes my skin look toned and radiant. I always end up looking fresh after applying this serum.
I don’t believe in anti-age miracles. My mom had tried a few and failed, so you can count that as my experience, but this product proved me wrong. As I have mentioned already, I have been using this serum for quite some time and didn’t have any breakouts. I had one pimple before I started using it and the pimple dried and withered away within 2-3 days without leaving any marks behind.
The serum has made the lines I have near my eyes and forehead less prominent. Even though the lines haven’t disappeared, I can already see drastic changes in my face. The black circles have become lighter too. My skin looks radiant and fresh and definitely younger. I do not have any tiredness in my face and my skin looks always fresh. My skin looks firm and hydrated. The serum is a must have if you are looking for anti-age serum that really works!
