My Experience with Nivea Sun Protection Lip Care Balm SPF 30:

Like all you beautiful girls, even I am fond of hoarding any sort of lip balm I come across. Most of the times, the only criteria for me to pick a lip balm is its outer appearance. If I like the color of packaging, I will not even think twice. Nivea sun protection lip care is one of the recent additions to my lip balm family.  It has been taking good care of my dry and cracked lips this winter. The texture is quite thick, but it glides smoothly on the lips. I have no uncomfortable or heavy feeling on the lips. It’s not sticky at all and keeps my lips moisturized for hours. I have not experienced any kind of irritation on my lips after applying this balm.

It has no prominent flavor, fragrance or color. Nivea lip care is a non-tinted lip balm. In fact, it leaves a white cast on the lips when applied alone. So whenever I am stepping out in sun, I use this lip balm as a lip primer and swipe my favorite lip color on top. That way, I can get sun protection as well as color for the lips.

I am happy with this balm if I only see the wonderful results it has given me and that it has helped me a lot in keeping my lips hydrated and moisturized. But I would have liked it a lot if it was tinted and I could wear it in sun without covering it with a lip color. It seems the whole purpose of SPF loaded lip balm gets defeated if it cannot be worn in sun, but still, I will like to pick this one again as it has SPF and is good for my lips too.
