My Experience with Nourish Organic Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser:
Packaging: Simple and easy-to-use squeeze tube.
Texture: This cleanser is very runny and watery in consistency. Sometimes, you can unintentionally pour out too much, resulting in wastage. You need about a coin-sized amount for you face, but it doesn’t lather up too much due to the lack of SLS and other foaming agents. It spreads on the skin very smoothly and rinses off easily.
Results: Even though this cleanser has coconut oil as the main ingredient, I did not find it to be very effective at removing my makeup, especially waterproof ones, but as an everyday cleanser, it works great, particularly with my dry skin. This cleanser does not give me that squeaky clean feeling I am accustomed to post washing with regular foaming cleanser; instead I feel a layer of hydration which is not greasy or oily feeling. Post wash, my skin immediately feels soothed, calm, and refreshed. It reduced the appearance of dry patches on my skin and keeps it feeling soft and supple.
Fragrance: This cleanser claims to be fragrance free, but it is not scent free. It has a moderately strong herbal scent which is not my favorite, but it doesn’t linger on my skin for long, so I don’t mind.
Overall, the best thing that I love about this cleanser is the amazing list of all natural ingredients. It is not that effective at removing makeup on its own. I do not see it working well for oily skin and those who like the super cleansed feeling of their skin due to the slightest bit of oily residue it leaves behind, which works in favor for those needing some extra bit of hydration along with something which does not strip the skin off moisture. I will recommend this cleanser to those with normal to dry skin.
