I have recently hauled too many products and there are multiple contouring products in my kit at this moment. After watching some YouTube videos, I have realised that bronzers with shimmers add a sun-kissed glow which is more like highlighting and not contouring. So, I gave up the idea of using a bronzer for contouring. But I really wanted to try a bronzer for creating soft, sun-kissed looks. I do not prefer detailed contouring or using a blush for day looks. So I needed a bronzer for the subtle glow. NYC has come up with many affordable bronzers for the beginners. I chose this one for myself. Read the review to know about my impression of it.

My Experience with NYC Sun ‘n’ Bronze Bronzing Powder Montauk Bronze:
Packaging: This comes in a sleek, compact, round pan with a transparent lid which is not attached to the pan. There is no mirror or applicator with it. The lid is cheap and probably carrying it in your bag may damage the product.
Shade and pigmentation: This is a medium coppery-bronze coloured product without any striking golden shimmer which is present in the other shades. There are 5 coloured stripes in total. The middle one and the outermost two stripes are darker than the middle two stripes. The middle two can be used just as a highlighter. When all the colours blend, they give a very light shade. There are micro-shimmers which show up after blending and give the perfect bronzing effect. A little deeper shade could have been better but then deep shades can give a baked look; since bronzers are often overdone, the application might go wrong if you are not a pro. For beginners, like me, this one is safe. The pigmentation is a little sheer and it is buildable. Overall, this is a nice and warm bronzer.
Texture: The texture is pretty smooth and blends perfectly. It does not have any chalky finish and never highlights the dry patches. There is no fallout either. It gives a very subtle dewy glow on the complete matte skin and the face looks bright. It does not make the face oily. My sensitive skin never feels any irritation due to this and I have never seen any breakout either.
Staying power: The powder stays without any primer for 4-5 hours. It does not fade even when I sweat and the shimmers never move all over the face.
Overall: This is a perfect bronzing powder for the makeup beginners who want a subtle, sun-kissed look.

I will try some other product once I finish this one. If you have never used a bronzer earlier, this is a beautiful and safe shade to start with.
