NYX CGL 09 Green Candy Glitter Liner Review

Hope everyone is doing fine. I’m here to review a fun product. Well, it looks fun to me. Let’s see how the ‘Candy Glitter Liner’ fares for me! 🙂

My Experience with NYX CGL 09 Green Candy Glitter Liner:

This liner comes packaged in a plastic tube which resembles the sparkly craft glue that is used for craft projects. It comes with a black lid and a black tassel. How cute is that! The shade name and the number are written at the bottom. The black details printed on the body aren’t as visible due to the heavy glitter floating around inside. The wand is very slim and the brush is very thin too. The glitter keeps settling at the bottom and for that not to happen, you have to shake the tube really well.

This one is a proper green shade. There is also a shade called ‘Jade’ which is an emerald green. But, this is a bright, luscious green. It’s nice to use such rare shades once in a while to jazz up your daily look. This shade would look good on pretty much all skin tones. Once set, the liquid doesn’t show up at all. It’s just the glitter party around your eyes. The liquid almost looks and feels like water. I was sure that it was nothing but water until it dried out.

When it set completely and the liquid had dried off, I smudged it and noticed that only those glitter particles that weren’t covered in that liquid moved. The other particles had set properly and did not budge easily. There’s little to no fallout once it’s set nicely. Coming to the staying power, it stays for about 3 hours or so. You have to be careful not to rub your eyes too hard.

Pros of NYX CGL 09 Green Candy Glitter Liner:

• I like the concept of glittery eye liners to jazz up the same old winged look
• Pretty shade
• Budget-friendly
• Little to no fallout, when smudged

Cons of NYX CGL 09 Green Candy Glitter Liner:

• Takes quite a long time to dry up completely
• Brush should have been thicker
• Staying power
