Eyebrows frame our eyes so we need to take care of our brows too. Having said that, brow makeup is the ‘in thing’ right now, especially on IMBB. I have decided to join the trend rather than ignore it. 🙂 So, today’s review will be on the NYX Chocolat Eye/Eyebrow Pencil which can be used as an eyeliner too! Lets see how this fared…

My Experience with NYX Chocolat Eye/Eyebrow Pencil:
The pencil comes in a wooden sharpenable type with a cap. I prefer pencils which need to be sharpened, unlike some, as you can get rid of accumulated bacteria on the product every time one sharpens. But at the same time one has to be careful not to sharpen too much as it would cause wastage.
The texture of the pencil is very smooth and creamy, unlike other eye pencils in this format. Since it is smooth, it is easy to glide. It glides on perfectly without any tugging or pulling! The shade Chocolat is similar to the shade brown in the same range (obviously) which gives a more natural looking eyebrow. It has no shimmer whatsoever (thank god) and gives an amazing color payoff with a single swipe.
The pencil won’t last on the waterline for more than 2 hour without smudging, after which you will get gothic eyes. But on the eyelids, it lasts for around 4-5 hours. If you have oily eyelids, this might last for around 2 hours at max. On the eyebrows it does not smudge, even when you sweat.
Overall, this pencil is of good quality but will cause wastage on sharpening. There is no fragrance whatsoever, plus point!

Would I Recommend/Repurchase NYX Chocolat Eye/Eyebrow Pencil?
Probably not. It is not an extraordinary product which needs to be in your vanity. Also if you have oily lids, you might want to stay away from this pencil.
