I am back to reviewing some eyeshadows. I have some NYX eyeshadows with me and I am picking them up one by one to review it for you.

My Experience with NYX ES38 Cotton Candy Eyeshadow:
Packaging: NYX single eyeshadow comes in a cute little rectangular packaging with a transparent opening that lets you see the shade clearly. It opens and shuts with an audible click. Once locked, it doesn’t open if kept in your purse or handbag. I like the simple packaging.
Color/Pigmentation: “Cotton Candy” is such a gorgeous pale pink colour, almost like a salmon shade with hints of pink in it. It contains finely milled shimmer that looks absolutely gorgeous as a shimmery blush or as an eyeshadow. The pigmentation is on the lighter side, but you can use it wet or build up the colour to intensify the look!
Texture: This eyeshadow is very soft and smooth. It’s extremely finely milled and you can feel the chalkiness as soon as you swipe the shadow. It causes a lot of fallout since it is so chalky and powdery! But it blends in very easily.
Staying Power: It stays on my lids for 4-5 hours without a primer though a primer could extend the staying power by another 2-3 hours.
Summing up the pros and cons:
Pros of NYX ES38 Cotton Candy Eyeshadow:
- Pretty shade.
- Blends very easily.
- Nice packaging.
- Decent staying power.
Cons of NYX ES38 Cotton Candy Eyeshadow:
- Staying power is not that good.
- Expensive.
- Not pigmented.
- Powdery texture.
