NYX Girls Round Lip Gloss in Baby Pink

Today I am here with another shade of the NYX round lip gloss and it is called Baby pink; previously I had reviewed the shade in Chocolate Mousse. Let’s see how this shade fared on me.
Product Details: NYX Girls Round Lip Gloss has 36 pretty shades to highlight the sexy pucker of yours. Feels silky smooth, long lasting and the color in the bottle is the color on. NYX Girls Round Lip Gloss is a must have for all sexy girls.
Price: Rs 175 for 2.5 ml.
Packaging: The gloss comes in a see through bottle, with a black cap in which the tapered sponge applicator is attached. The applicator is really nice; it picks the needed amount of gloss enough to give pigmented application in once. All over the packaging is really good and sturdy for the price.
My take on NYX Girls Round Lip Gloss in Baby Pink
Shade: The shade “Baby Pink” is a shimmery milky and pale kind of baby pink and has a whitish pale cast to it. The gloss will not suit most of the Indian skin tones, only very fair or cool toned beauties would be able to carry it, neither it can be topped over lipstick, the whitish cast of the gloss will alter the color of any lipstick, and it will appear different and unpleasant. It does wash out my fair to medium complexion, but after few hours of application, the color mute downs and appear as a pleasing nude pink gloss.
Texture & Pigmentation: The texture is gloss is very creamy and glides smoothly on lips with the applicator. The consistency is just right, neither thin nor thick and sticky. I think every girl would want her gloss to be nonsticky. It feels very lightweight on lips. Let’s come to the pigmentation part, it’s only a gloss, not a liquid lip color or a lip lacquer, so we can’t expect it to give an opaque coverage on lips, but I’ll say the gloss is pigmented enough for an out and out gloss. It gives semi sheer coverage on lips, it’s enough for non pigmented lips, but too much pigmented lips should skip this shade, instead buy the darker colors.
Staying Power: I am taken over by the staying power of the gloss, for the price, it stayed on me for 4-5 hours easily, with light snacking, Oh my God ! *happydance*. As I mentioned before the gloss appeared milky and whitish for 2 hours, after than it slowly mutes down and the shade starts looking pleasing on me *blush*.
Pros of NYX Girls Round Lip gloss in Baby Pink:
• Texture is very creamy, glides easily on lips.
• Applicator is good, picks right amount of gloss.
• Gloss is decently pigmented.
• Is really very affordable.
• The gloss is not sticky.
• Stays on for really long.
• Packaging is travel friendly.
Cons of NYX Girls Round Lip Gloss in Baby Pink:
• The shade is the only con I find in the gloss, it shouldn’t have that pale, whitish cast to it, else it would have been a great n*de pink shade.
• Would not suit most of Indian skin tone.
• Can’t be wore over a lipstick also, because of its pigmented formula, it will alter the lipstick shade and would not appear nice.
• Availability of them every time and easily.
Recommendation/ Re- purchase: No, for the this shade, but Yes for the gloss, only cool toned beauties and that too if you liked the shade in the swatches can buy it, well it’s not a shade to wear in India, no need to grab unnecessary attention by wearing this silvery pale gloss, but I think we smart girls will find some way to wear it and not that too without looking like ghosts.
Though I loved the gloss I am not gonna buy this shade again, instead will buy the other shades.
IMBB Rating: 4/5. The shade makes me cut down the 1 mark, but this is a 5/5 gloss for me, because of the great quality and extremely affordable price.
