My Experience with NYX Molten Love Whipped Lip and Cheek Souffle:

The soufflé comes in a small and sturdy plastic bottle. The packaging has the description and ingredients list mentioned on it. This small bottle has a large screw on type cap with an applicator. The applicator is soft and quite different from other standard doe-foot applicators. The wand is small but I find it quite fit to apply it on the lips and cheeks. The color-coded body makes this soufflé easy to spot from makeup stash. It has a sticker at its base mentioning the shade name. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.

The shade “Molten Love” is one of my most favorite lip colors. It is a stunning bright red shade that brightens up the face instantly. The intense red shade flatters my skin tone well. I am a die-hard red lipstick lover and this one has become my favorite red. There are no shimmers or glitters in the lipstick. The soufflé looks super glossy initially and sets to a nice velvety finish after a few minutes. It looks gorgeous on the lips. The pigmentation of the soufflé is just amazing, just two swipes are more than enough to impart the perfect opaque color to the lips. It hides pigmented lips nicely imparting an intense red color to the lips. As, it is insanely pigmented, it requires a little extra care when you apply it as a blush, otherwise, you might end up with clown cheeks. A little dab of this soufflé is more than enough to give you natural, rosy cheeks. The soufflé has a funny candy-like fragrance, which might not be pleasing for everyone.

The texture of this soufflé is lightweight and smooth. It feels so soft, almost like a whipped cream. The formula is ultra comfortable. It does not feel waxy on the lips. I had already mentioned that I am totally in love with the texture of these lips creams. It spreads easily on the lips and cheeks and does not highlight the dry patches of the lips. The formula is nice and very moisturizing. My lips stay moisturized and hydrated for so many hours after application. The soufflé provides hydration to my lips and my lips feel nourished almost all the time without any smudging. The texture of the soufflé is on the creamier side, so it easily transfers to mugs and goblets.

The staying power of this souffle is nice. It lasts more than six hours on my lips with little sipping, but does not last a full meal and the color gets ripped off easily. So, the color settles into the fine lines of the lips. While, using it as a cheek color, it lasts easily for more than 6-7 hours with a primer and proper base. Removing the soufflé is pretty easy. It gets removed easily with a good makeup remover without leaving any stain behind. Overall, I loved the product.
