The product description for the NYX Simply Red collection says that it is “a classic red pout never goes out of style”. How true!! And I can never have enough of red lipsticks. So here I am reviewing the shade Seduction from the NYX Simply Red Lip cream collection.

My experience with NYX Seduction Simply Red Lip Cream:
Packaging: This lip cream comes in the standard lip crayon packaging. The tube is a lovely red, the base is black and the cap is transparent. It has a twist up mechanism which makes it easy to use. No sharpening is needed which means no product is wasted.
Shade:
Seduction is a beautiful red with orange undertones.The shade looks gorgeous and instantly adds brightness to the face. It is a bright shade but doesn’t look garish and will very well suit warm skin tones.
Texture, Finish, Pigmentation:
NYX names these as lip creams and indeed this product has the texture and pigmentation of a lip cream. It glides smoothly on the lips and doesn’t tug at your lips at all. It is not exactly hydrating but doesn’t feel drying either. Since the product is in a lip crayon format, it is easy to apply on the Cupid’s bow and corners of the lips.
The lip cream is strongly pigmented and turns opaque in a single swipe. Since it is a bright shade, I would recommend using a lip liner to avoid any feathering. The finish is a glossy crème and looks really gorgeous on the lips. The lip cream lasts around 5-6 hrs and can survive light meals. It leaves behind a mild reddish stain on the lips.
