I am nuts about eye makeup and I hoard like crazy all the eye makeup stuff. One of my favourite eye makeup products is the liquid eye liners. Today’s review will be on NYX Studio Liquid Liner Extreme Smokey Gray. Now, these are not new launches and are in the market for quite some time now.

My Experience with NYX Studio Liquid Liner – Extreme Smokey Gray:
Packaging:
NYX, being a very economical brand does not generally have a big and classy packaging. The eyeliner comes in a small colour coded plastic bottle which helps in identifying the shade easily. It has a plastic cap which holds the applicator. The applicator brush is thin and sleek and helps in applying precise lines. The details as to the name, number and ingredients of the shade are written on the plastic bottle itself. The bottle is small and sturdy and hence travel-friendly.
Shade:
This was a disappointment for me. I had in mind that the shade would be more of gray. But, actually, this shade is quite black in colour with a slight silver tint to it which makes it look a little greyish. To put it in simple words, it is just a black shade with silver tint or maybe we can say it is a little muted black shade.
Texture and Pigmentation:
The texture of the eyeliner is neither too watery nor too thick. This actually helps in the application and then it spreads evenly out. The pigmentation is very good. But, it looks streaky with only a single application. Hence, to even it out, you will need to apply the eyeliner at least twice. It takes about a minute to dry completely. When it dries, it does not settle into a matte finish but, has a glossy feel to it.
Lasting Power:
I like the lasting power and it lasted for more than 6 hours on my lids. I had used a primer beneath which enhances the colour to some extent. It did not flake at all. Also, I needed a makeup remover to remove it completely. While removing also it does not come off in pieces and is easy to remove.

I would definitely recommend this line of liners. I won’t buy this again because it is just a different kind of black shade. But, I want to try the other shades.
