After all the lovely products from NYX, now I would like to review a lip liner from this brand from the “Slide On” range, it’s Slide On, Glide On, Stay On and Turn On Waterproof, Extreme Colour Lip Liner in Summer Tease. Phew!! That’s too many words!! But on the lip liner itself, NYX says that the name of this liner is long because it deserves to be called all that!!

Pucker up and apply the Slide On Lip Pencil for rich, matte color. Like our award-winning eyeliner, this waterproof pencil goes on extra smooth with a long-wearing finish. Line your lips to prevent pesky feathering, then fill them in to enrich color payoff and longevity.

My Experience with NYX Summer Tease Slide On Lip Pencil:

Packaging: The packaging of the NYX lip pencils is like a regular sleek pencil with a sturdy cap, which has a colour-coded body to the shade of the lip liner. This pencil is not retractable, but has to be sharpened. Although I don’t have major complaints for sharp-enable pencils, but I would appreciate a built-in sharpener in the cap of the lip pencil to avoid any hassles of carrying a sharpener along. Also, the lip liner is plastic sealed which gives me so much satisfaction in terms of hygiene.

Color:  The shade “Summer Tease” is an awesome reddish shade with orange undertones. It looks gorgeous alone but can boost the staying power of so many n*de lipsticks and glosses – a very beautiful shade! It is a shade which would complement a lot of skin tones, and go well with light and dark reddish-orange lipsticks. In fact, this color is a must-have in a woman’s makeup kitty, for the sheer versatility.

Pigmentation: The pigmentation of these babies is way much better than the other lip liners that NYX had in the past. Just one swipe deposits a fine amount of color, and if you are looking to wear it on its own, you can just fill in your lips. It has enough color pay-off to hide any lip discoloration.

Texture: The texture is very creamy and not crumble-y or feathery. While applying on the lips, this goes on easily without any tugging or pulling, but the one thing that disturbs me is that in spite of the creamy texture, it’s very drying on the lips. If you see the lips swatches, you’ll see how this lip liner clings to the dry patches of my lips. You cannot wear this baby without exfoliating the lips.

Longevity: Once applied to the lips, these baby to the lips and do not go anywhere at all. No budging, no moving, no smearing, no feathering or fading!! Trust me the longevity of this baby has left me in awe! This stays on the lips for the whole day without feeling heavy.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend NYX Summer Tease Slide On Lip Pencil?
I do recommend this lip liner as it’s affordable, better quality and has a variety of shades to choose from. If you do not have the issue of dry lips, go for it.
