OGX Extra Strength Argan Oil of Morocco Conditioner Review

Hello cuties,
How are you all doing? I am loving the wedding season going around. You all know that I am a big-time Organix/OGX fan and I keep trying different ranges from them. So the pick this time is the newly launched range “Extra Strength Argan Oil of Morocco”! I picked both the shampoo and the conditioner as they work the best together! So let’s hop onto the review of this conditioner.

OGX Extra Strength Argan Oil of Morocco Conditioner Review

Price: Rs 725 for 385 ml

Product Description:
Luxury meets strength. This adaption of an OGX favorite helps deliver superior hydration with a thicker and creamier formula. Made with silk proteins and argan oil, it helps leave your hair lush, soft and luxurious.

Bring your hair back to silky perfection. This extra strength conditioning formula blend fortified with silk proteins helps strengthen and soften every strand with moisture.

My Experience with OGX Extra Strength Argan Oil of Morocco Conditioner:

I love OGX for the fact that they have been so amazing with creating so many different types of ranges that meet different hair needs. One might definitely get confused if one opens up the OGX website and has to pick just 1 range. But I was sure, since Moroccan argan oil was something I was waiting to try.

Packaging: The conditioner comes in a fresh aqua blue coloured bottle with a shimmery gold cap. The cap is a flip one which opens and closes with a click. I love how attractive the OGX bottles are and it becomes really easy to spot a range by just looking at the colour of the packaging. The bottles of the earlier ranges used to be bigger and fatter than these. I don’t know why the size has been reduced despite the quantity being the same. I can definitely carry these around because they aren’t that heavy.

Consistency and fragrance: The conditioner is white in colour and like the other conditioners, the consistency is super thick. I would like to call it a hair butter and not a hair conditioner because of its consistency. It drenches my hair completely and dissolves well on my hair coating each and every strand well. The scent is heavenly like the other OGX products! It smells very refreshing and crisp and resembles some aqua mineral scent with a pleasant perfumed touch. But it does not linger in my hair as compared to the older ranges.

Results: It instructs us to leave it on for 3-5 minutes but it hardens up my hair creating a waxy coating texture and I find it difficult to rinse. Hence, I leave it on for 2 minutes because it does its work very quickly. It makes my hair extremely smooth, soft and silky. My hair looks super fresh, healthy and it actually looks bouncy. So it does not weigh down my hair in any way. Apart from regular benefits, it revives my damaged hair to a very good extent and they do look very natural. But it does not completely repair them and I wouldn’t even expect a conditioner to do so! It also claimed to treat dry hair and this is the part where I am slightly disappointed. It treated my dry hair shaft beautifully, but it failed to treat my dry ends which looked and felt dry.

So overall, a decent one but I am not completely satisfied. There are better OGX products that you can try!

Pros of OGX Extra Strength Argan Oil of Morocco Conditioner:

• Attractive packaging in fresh aqua blue and gold.
• Easy to carry and use as the cap stays tight.
• The conditioner has a nice, heavenly perfumed aqua scent.
• It takes really less to time to work.
• It makes my hair super smooth, bouncy, fresh and healthy looking.
• It definitely makes my hair look a lot less damaged.
• It revives my damaged hair to a great extent.
• Organix does not test on animals.

Cons of OGX Extra Strength Argan Oil of Morocco Conditioner:

• It does not completely treat very dry hair.
• My hair hardens up if left for 3-5 minutes; hence I leave it only for 2 minutes.
• It did not live up to the reputation created by older OGX products.

IMBB Rating: 3.5/5

Will I Repurchase/Recommend OGX Extra Strength Argan Oil of Morocco Conditioner?
No, I wouldn’t as I am not impressed with the new launches! Rather I would go back to trying the older ones which I totally love!
