OGX Intensely Invigorating Eucalyptus Mint Conditioner Review

I am obsessed with hair care products these days as my hair is not behaving well, hence I bought this conditioner to see if it can make my hair manageable. This one doesn’t have any tall claims – it claims to be a simple, humble conditioner (in simple words). I picked it up also for eucalyptus and mint seemed very refreshing and cooling.

OGX Intensely Invigorating Eucalyptus Mint Conditioner Review

Product Description:
The eucalyptus oil, cooling mint, and tea tree oil infused in this conditioner offer a refreshing way to help hydrate your hair from root to tip.

Price:
INR 725 for 385 ml

My Experience with OGX Intensely Invigorating Eucalyptus Mint Conditioner:

Ogx has changed its packaging a bit – it does not matter much to me, since the quantity is still the same, i.e. 385 ml. I feel the price of all the Ogx shampoos and conditioners is justified because all of the products last long. This conditioner comes in a turquoise bottle with a golden cap. The packaging is very sturdy and you can take it along on travels. But, if you find it too bulky to travel with, you can always carry some product in travel bottles. Other than this, the bottle has all the details about the product, you can read them when you want to kill time in the bathroom. 😀

This conditioner smells very very fresh, of eucalyptus and mint. I like the fragrance and my sister likes it too. But, it reminds me of Vicks at the same time. So, this fragrance is very subjective. I do not think many people will like it. It lingers in hair for around two days and then vanishes. To me, it feels very refreshing and soothing though.

Ogx hasn’t made many claims about this conditioner. It just seems like a simple, humble conditioner that does not really do anything to transform your hair. And, this is the problem! I use conditioners because I want them to change my hair for better. It does not moisturise my hair, which is always my main concern. But, I have noticed that it easily detangles my hair and keeps it that way for around 2 days. Another thing, it makes my hair soft, but not crazy soft. Next, it does add a little bit of bounce and life to my hair, which is great considering it’s still winter.

I know I should not apply conditioner to my scalp, and I do not. But I can feel that it soothes my scalp when I wash this conditioner off (as it touches my scalp at that time). It gives a subtle cooling sensation, which is much desired by me. It has not dried out my hair, but again, not moisturised and hydrated it either. So I find this one to be a very very average conditioner. Get it only if you do not have any other option left, and if you have super healthy hair.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend OGX Intensely Invigorating Eucalyptus Mint Conditioner?
No, I have used many better conditioners than this. It just does not do anything special. I won’t recommend it either.
