Olay Age Defying Anti-Wrinkle Day Lotion with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Review

I have dry facial skin, but it does behave a bit weird in the summers and acts like dry-combination at times. So, as the summers approached, I was on the lookout for a facial moisturizer which I could use daily since creams really become heavy for summers. Also, I stay at home as I am not working and hence needed light sunscreen which would suffice so that I have sun protection while staying at home as well. Additionally, it should moisturize my facial skin as well. Also, being on the other side of 30 doesn’t help as well and makes the need for the lotion to contain anti-aging properties as well. Olay Age Defying Anti Wrinkle Day Lotion with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 fitted my bill perfectly. Now that I am using it for almost 3 months, it is the time to review it. 😉

My Experience with Olay Age Defying Anti-Wrinkle Day Lotion with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15:

Olay Age Defying Anti-Wrinkle Day Lotion comes in a white, plastic translucent bottle which has a black screw top cap and comes in a box packing which is sealed in a cardboard box packing. I really like drugstore products which come sealed as it ensures that the product is untouched and unused. The bottle can be squeezed to take the product out.

The product has a thick lotion-like consistency. It is smooth and creamy, and spreads out easily. It does not feel greasy at all, but does takes a while to get absorbed. Though the lotion is thicker than most of the moisturizers (I guess that is because of the sunscreen), it feels pretty light on skin. It keeps my skin well moisturized for the whole day. For reference, I have dry-combination facial skin.

Since I stay at home, it gives me the adequate sun-protection along with the hydration. I prefer to use my Sun Bum Broad Spectrum SPF 70 Premium Moisturizing Sunscreen Lotion when I have to go out.

Olay Age Defying Anti-Wrinkle Day Lotion did not break me out, but neither has it helped me with my existing breakouts, nor does it say so. Over the time, I have noticed that my skin tone has become brighter and most of the tan is gone, from my face.

I have worn it under makeup as well and it doesn’t interfere with the makeup at all. Also, I have worn serum under it as well and it does not feel uncomfortable.

It has a light fragrance, which is very pleasing and goes away in a couple of minutes.  I do not have wrinkles, but yes, the fine lines does seem smooth now and the anti-wrinkle claim holds well.

• Takes a while to get absorbed.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Olay Age Defying Anti-Wrinkle Day Lotion with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15?

This is a good moisturizer which has sunscreen and anti-aging properties as well. An all-rounder, I must say. 😀 I might repurchase in next summers, as now with winters approaching, my skin needs more hydration than this lotion can provide. If you are looking for a product which provides you hydration, anti-aging properties and sun protection too, look no far. 😀
