My Experience with OraLabs Chap Ice Cherry Lip Balm SPF 4:

The lip balm comes in a simple yet classy packaging. It comes in a small white coloured tube, which is wrapped all over with a cherry red label. The label contains product details and list of active ingredients but full ingredient list is missing. The lip balm bullet is housed in this twist up plastic tube. The tube closes securely with a small cap, which fits securely and makes it purse-friendly. This “cherry” variant has a nice and pleasant fragrance. It has that typical bubble-gum kind of smell. I absolutely love the smell of this lip balm. The smell stays for a good period of time. This variant comes with SPF 4. Though, SPF 4 is quite low to fight against harmful sunrays but still it will work to protect the lips from sun in these harsh summers. The “medicated” variant does not come with any SPF.

The bullet of the lipstick is slightly reddish in colour. But the lip balm does not impart any hint of colour to the lips. The colour is so light that it is not visible even after multiple swipes. Hence, it is also a non-tinted kind of variant. As it is colorless, it will not hide those pigmented lips. But it can be used under any of your matte lippy and it will not affect the matte finish of your favorite lipstick.

The texture of the lip balm is not so creamy, but it is not too dry either. It glides easily on the lips. But still I would say this lip balm is not creamier than the other lip balms available. The formula is lightweight and feels comfortable on the lips. The lip balm moisturizes my lips well and makes them soft and smooth. It helps in repairing those chapped and dry lips. The lip balm stays for approx. 4 hours on my lips.
