Hi Girls, How are you all doing?
I’m back again with another review. The product I’m reviewing today is “Organic Surge Hand and Nail Cream, Gentle meadow” .
I think everybody who lives outside home knows what a beating their hands can take doing all the chores, also the due to the cleanliness freak in me I end up washing my hands a lot of times in a day and the hand-soap at my workplace is anything but skin-friendly! Due to all the harsh chemicals in detergents and soaps my hands have become very dry and I’m in constant search of a good hand cream.
I was looking through the hand-creams on an e-com website, and I stumbled upon Organic Surge, Two words organic and paraben-free and I was sold, I immediately ordered this one and let’s see if it worked for my dry hands or not!
I have been using this cream for about a month now and I have almost finished it, it comes in a tube packaging, with a flip cap, which is sturdy and ideal for travel. The product itself is pretty thick in consistency and rich, although doesn’t take a long time to sink in.
Your skin’s best friend… the intense moisturizing action of this quickly-absorbed cream provides loads of comfort and hydration. It works to prevent moisture loss to leave hands softened and rejuvenated.
SLS and Paraben free. Not tested on animals.
Aqua(Water), Aloe leaf juice, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycryl Stearate, Glycerin (Veg), Cocoa butter Isopropyl Myristate, Stearic acid, Cetearyl Glucoside, Oleyl Oleate, Lavender Flower oil, Tocopherol, Rose Geranium oil, Sodium Benzoate, Limonene, Linalool.
My thoughts on Organic Surge Gentle Meadow Hand and Nail Cream :
I think the product lives up to all its claims, It moisturizes intensely, gets absorbed immediately and does not leave behind any film on your hands. It relieves the tight sensation one has after washing hands. It has the musky smell of lavender which doesn’t linger too long, which is a plus for me. Makes my hand soft to touch after applying. A few cons though, my hands go back to feeling dry after washing, I have to reapply the cream, and it did not do anything to my dry cuticles. My skin peels around the nails and I was hoping this cream would do something about it. Otherwise, if you’re looking for a good hand-cream that moisturizes well and is paraben free go for it!
So here’s the final verdict:
Pros of Organic Surge Gentle Meadow Hand and Nail Cream :
• Thick texture, moisturizing yet non-greasy.
• Mild non-irritating smell.
• Has nourishing Cocoa seed butter and lavender oil which has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and geranium essential oil which is known to alleviate stress and anxiety and also has anti-aging properties.
• Travel-friendly packaging.
Cons of Organic Surge Gentle Meadow Hand and Nail Cream :
• A little expensive at 595 INR for 75 gms.
• Needs reapplication after washing your hands.
• Did not do anything to my dry cuticles.
IMBB Rating :
It’s a good hand-cream but had to reduce a point for being expensive and not doing anything for dry cuticles.
