Organic Surge Moisture Boost Conditioner Review

Organic Surge Moisture Boost Conditioner Review

Hello beautiful people!!

Aah!! For a change, I will be reviewing a hair care product other than my regular lipsticks and lip glosses. Now, this product is the Organic Surge Moisture Boots Conditioner. I was willing to try this shampoo and conditioner from a long time now. Finally, I could get my hands on this pink beauty. Actually, I wanted to review the shampoo too, but I was waiting for some time to elapse and use it for some more time before I review it, but I am late.  As the shampoo has already been reviewed here, I will be reviewing the conditioner. Let’s see what we have in store.

My Experience with Organic Surge Moisture Boost Conditioner:

The smell, yes, its the first thing that I noticed (felt) as I opened the flip cap. It’s very mild and a bit like roasted nuts and a bit like coconut. The consistency is thick, not very thick though, it is creamy. As I have long hair, up to my waist, I needed like 2 teaspoons to cover the entire length of my hair. I started from below the ears level to the tips. I waited for 2 minutes and then rinsed with cold water. It got washed off easily and the water was clean in a minute. I tried to feel my hair after I rinsed it. I must tell you girls, it won’t give you super de-tangled or smooth feeling as we get with those silicone conditioners, that is, I could not run fingers through my hair as easily as when I use L’Oreal or Dove conditioners.

Organic Surge Moisture Boost Conditioner 4

Frankly speaking, I was a bit disappointed at this time; I was worried that I would end up with messy hair.  Anyway, after I towel dried my hair and let it dry, oh my God!, my hair felt smoother, shinier and most importantly, healthier. There were no tangles and there was an effortless bounce in the hair.  Overall, I was happy. The smell lingered till the evening, remember I told you, the smell was very mild. I wished the smell would have lingered a little more. I like to have some smell to my hair after wash. Never mind, there are far better attributes than just the smell. I have been using this conditioner for a month now and I would say, I am happy. I liked the packing too. The tube looks nice on my bathroom shelf, cute pink and green.

Pros of Organic Surge Moisture Boost Conditioner:

  • Organic conditioner, free of harsh chemicals.
  • Detangles hair and provides shine to some extent.
  • Contains essential oils, hair feels soft and smooth.
  • Does not weigh down hair (when applied in the length of hair, not scalp).
  • Leaves hair with a healthy shine and bounce.
  • Widely available online and in beauty stores.
  • Cute packaging in pink with a flip cap.

Cons of Organic Surge Moisture Boost Conditioner:

  •  May not suit very oily scalp.
  • As the packaging is a non-transparent tube, we cannot easily find out how much product is left out.
  • Wish the fragrance lasted a little bit longer.

IMBB Rating:

4.5/5 (Still looking for the 5/5 one).

Do I Recommend Organic Surge Moisture Boost Conditioner?

Yes, if you are looking for a conditioner which is free of harmful SLS, parabens, synthetic fragrance and colourants and makes hair manageable and tangle-free.

  2. Yes Divya, although not SLS but some variant *smug* . But still its better than many of conditioners that are heavily chemical laden.
As I was typing the ingredient list…I was like *yawn* . Ddint read so many organic chemistry in my engineering too. *hihi* *nababana*

  3. Yes Sushmita *hifive* . Hope you will like it too. I tried this with other than Organic Surge shampoo and it worked well too. As my scalp tends to get a bit oily so i used the pantene clarifying shapoo once and then this conditioner, my hair felt good. No dryness in the ends.
